Jmook inspiring an entire new generations of players. Melee continues to one-up itself in terms of never seen before incredible moments and continuing to reach new heights with players winning majors for the first time ever with more and more characters. A few years ago we saw it could be done with pikachu and falcon and now we're seeing it again with yoshi and sheik. Will we see a return to Falcons in top 8? Is this the era of the sheiks? Melee is eternal.

So stoked for jmook. That tourney was so hype. All last year jmook just couldn't close it out. But now I think we might be in a jmook dominance era. He seems like a good guy and the fact we could see amsa, jmook, and moky in the top 3 spots on the rankings in the near future is a wild thought. But what's more insane is that we go into tournaments and it's not like X will win or Y will win. It's literally Zain, amsa, IBDW, mango, jmook, hbox, mango, plup, kodorin, hell even slug, fiction, and the peach players have a chance. While I do miss the 5 gods era this new era we are in is arguably the most insane period. Off topic but can I just say I love the role hbox has been taking lately. Not the best player, not the evil villain, not the most arrogant, and just not the bad guy anymore. The guy finally has fans cheering for him both online and offline and I think that just gave him the confidence to be comfortable. I like that. I mean I don't really like watching hbox play or anything but at the same time I don't hate it anymore.
