Cap the answer to why you would use the multiplier would be if you were fighting spaced targets. This could be firing down a trench line and infantry targets. Normally you would use it at the 50 ms to the 1,100 ms. The switch would be to react quickly to the spacing without taking your eyes off the target for long. So the situation would be you thought you were to attack a single target. You suddenly have to attack a spaced target and have minimal time to react. You flip a switch and go at it, not a great solution, but it would allow for quicker reactions. It is also helpful if you need to keep your eyes outside of the copit.

The Emergency Weapon Release handle works to dump the used weapons canisters in conjunction with the selector above and to the right of it.

I really like your tutorials. I just got the F4 and really like it. Not as complicated and not as hard to learn as most other DCS planes. I have learned a lot from your videos about also the F5, and a couple others which are fun and fairly easy. Keep up the great work for us. I also find your joy stick control settings very very useful.. Is there any other FREE planes out for DCS yet. I have bought a few different ones BUT FREE is usually fun to play with to.

@E Quinn you’ve probably figured it out by now, but yes, I would say the A-4 is the absolute perfect middleman module for transitioning from FC3 to full fidelity!

those were a shit ton of rockets, it sounded more like a minigun than anything. also i think the A-4 has the most rockets quantity possible in DCS right now, at 9 pods or 171 rockets (70mm only), next ones are the su-25t with 8 s-8 pods (160), and the hornet with 8 pods (152 rockets). edit: it could be beaten by the upcoming F-4E phantom, according to some SAC documents, it can carry up to 13 lau-3 pods (247 rockets) the aircraft with most rockets i could think of would be an early F-111 Aardvark, early on , they were cleared to carry lau-3 too, or tested at least, i saw a video of one having 9 pods on one wing, therefore being able of having at least 18 pods or 342 rockets.(not counting stations 1 and 8)

Hey Cap, speaking of A-4 rockets, can you do a re-enactment of the Skyhawk's only air-to-air victory in the Vietnam War? :D "On 1 May 1967, an A-4C Skyhawk piloted by Lieutenant Commander Theodore R. Just wondering.. .I am still a newbie with DCS... I am trying to figure out what weapons for the Skyhawk would be the best to use against Armor Vehicles.. I have tried playing with a few different missile and rockets and am lost as to what is best to use.. Any help is greatly appreciated as I cannot find much about the weapons listed for it in the User Guide.. I love the simplicity of this plane.. I think it and the F-5 were almost made just for me and easy to fly...

Try HEAT against actual tanks, only you have to hit them directly for the penetrator to work. WP and HE will work against softer targets like trucks.
