I've walked along that path between the railway and the estuary many times ... seen plenty of Sprinters, 158s and 185s but never a loco!

I'm glad I watched your earlier vid approaching Hull, because the view of the bridge is stunning. Thanks for this.

First of all. Thanks for a lovely video. Great picture and sound. Super steady picture at that. But for a 20 minute video there was such an awful lot of adverts I downloaded it in the end to watch . I do not mind a few ads to help pay the way, but too many just drive people away.

An amazing video, I really enjoy watching these! If I remember correctly, Crabley Creek signal box stayed open after the re-signalling, but was no longer a block post and just operated the crossing. I think there was a land deed or something that stated the crossing had to be physically manned. Do you know if this is still the case?
@RailMart3 жыл бұрын
Not sure about that. I have actually been in the box there a few years ago.

@@RailMart Ah nice! In the video it looks as though the wooden gates are still there, so I suppose it's quite possible that it's still operated from the box.

West Parade Junction is not in the throat of the station, that is known as Park Street Junction. West Parade takes you off the Bridlington Lines onto the Avioding Line to Anlaby Road Jn. Crabley Creek is still open as Gate Box no longer a block post it is now released from York ROC to operate the level crossing.

I work for the CSX railroad here in the USA . We would never be allowed to allow camera in the cab....we would be in major trouble)((

There are quite a few CSX cab ride vids on YT - is this a relatively new rule?
