I’d like to see one large cream looped rug under the bed that comes out on either side … that castle is cold, and it’d be great to have more than a small runner underfoot to walk around on to provide some coziness and warmth

Yes, I think you’re right it should be matching more the bedroom suite they can antique paint it that color. It’s green, it’s not even blue. I don’t think they had enough time to paint it. Because it was in that bedroom before they redid it.

Perhaps if it were delicately shaded with a thin coat of pastel greens and pinks/reds ...you would be able to see it is predominantly a garland of roses ...at least that is what it looks like to me ...along with curled bands of ribbons and scrolls & seashell forms. @@marshawargo7238

I absolutely loved this transformation! You all work so hard! As I speak my husband is drywalling my son and daughter in laws cottage. Interesting technique for wallpapering, makes sense as if you pasted the paper it would expand and then contract and you would have to make allowances for that, I want to see this 24 hours later to see if it worked.

Little Greene papers, as many others, are designed to 'paste the wall' rather than the paper. It's a great development as it helps eliminate shrinkage and is a neater way of working.

When I first tuned in and saw the wall paper, it looked like weed to me! Once I saw it closer it just looked like a couple of leaves were missing. I had to laugh! Glad it's blue not green....
