Shout out to the plaintiff for getting a promissory note. The defendant kept using the "you were too drunk" as a gotcha but the plaintiff was more responsible for NOT driving than she was. All she had to do was go home and not start trouble.

@BlacknEducated Okay, so it was a gang of thuggish girls, lol. My point was that her emphasis with the XXXXs really drove her point home, and she made it clear to the Judge regarding location of the principal players in their drunken hot mess. The plaintiff did a great job with her sketch on the whiteboard. She prevailed in her lawsuit, sooooo, that was great. It's one of my favorite episodes. Ü

For someone who caused damage to her "friend's" vehicle because of drama involving HER ex, she's got quite the attitude. I hope there was another reason aside from the plaintiff seeking compensation that has her so heated. Otherwise, she's portraying herself as a terrible friend and an irresponsible, childish person!

The only reason the plaintiff won was because of the promissory note(kudos to her) because if she didn’t have it it would be on her. Legally the person at fault is who the car is registered too. This is why you don’t let people drive your car.

I hit a beamer in a sprinter. We panicked and took off. Got a half a mile down the street and decided to go back 😅and we left our information. It was at a casino, the owner didn't call till the next day 😅 meaning he stayed all night and part of the day in the casino 😅

Good point judge! Thanks for pointing out the litigant's grammar error, because in grammar "person" word that particular word falls under the 3/6 categories of 1st person, 2nd person, 3rd person singular and plural is one of the possessive pronouns: mine. The one possessive pronoun that does not end with the letter "s". Where mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, yours again for plural, and theirs! I get some of my best corrections for grammar errors by litigants on the Judge Judy's court show and yours too! Don't say, Me( the object) and my boy friend... My boy friend and I (subject) are happy together! I went to the mall by myself with my boy friend's credit card and bought a Gucci hand bag and he had no regrets with my purchase! Finally, if they had been chased with a weapon like a gun and fired upon it would been a different turn out a then report would been helpful and probably the cost would have been divided or in the middle of the event at no fault of the driver would have been dismissed!

@matthewpoff20774 сағат бұрын
If you are driving, it doesn't matter if you were doing someone a favor or not, you are responsible. Obviously there are exceptions for crazy things like the passenger reaching over and yanking on the wheel, but in general, if you drive then you assume the responsibility.

You probably don't say this to any other accent but you do to this one. How many southerners do you correct when they speak differently. How many people from up north do you correct. You are being racial whether you are trying to be or not. And in the end did you understand what was said because I guarantee people who say this have poor grammar themselves.

Language is fluid and changes over time. There’s really no such thing as speaking correctly. We’re all just taught the European standard. They don’t have to follow that. Languages are made up. Not every black person speaks standard English. Because of our history, a lot of us speak a certain way.
