There are places for backhoes. I still have several. 1: carry with front loader bucket over distance on rubber tires. 2: linear lift power in line from front to back 3: multi-use and versatile 4: stockpile loading yet can dig hard bank dirt with rear bucket to then load with front when loose 5: highway speed travel etc....

I personally think they would have been better off marketing the Daewoon/Doosan dozer as a Bobcat. I think that would help them at least in the American market. Good luck with the Backhoe as well.

Ran a late model bobcat skid-steer track type loader and it was incredibly slow in high gear it did 6 1/2 mi an hour cycle times were slow and what it didn't have and they need to put on it is a return to dig mode on the bucket when you're lifting the bucket up the bucket rolls back rolls back and will actually dump half the load on the windshield and f****** break it even Auto leveling on it

Bobcat dominated the skidsteer market but most ctl's as references with any skidsteer would be called a bobcat same with JCB and the backhoe loader

Lol I just said that lol like any skidsteer or ctl here in the UK is a bobcat but u dont see many skidsteers here in the UK and never any tracked models 9 times out of 10 its a 3CX JCB or Cat and if u see a skidsteer it's wheeled and usually a bobcat branded one like here 1t to 10t site dumpers are popular in America it like the articulated hual trucks 25t plus volvos a seiries only used here on huge jobs but usually there is a site dumper or 3 traits or JCB and Terex

I don’t understand why you made that statement backhoes are still extremely useful pieces of equipment. At least where I live we drive ours all over town sometimes an hour or more to get to the job site Quicker and easier than using the heavy truck and trailer

They have bobcat backhoe in Europe for years
