Love this video. This was the video that clinched it for me in regards to choosing a bagger for a new motorcycle. I have never regretted it. For all the reasons this video talks about. And these baggers today are really fast and really maneuverable. They are a lot of fun.

I'm just getting started on my first bobber build. It's my first build ever. I got a 1998 Suzuki Marauder for $900. I'm just getting started. Your 650 bobber build really inspired me. Thank you so much

I've had everything from a ninja 250 for a first bike through vrods, suzuki gsxf, night train, fatboy, tl1000r, 2014 z1000, 03 z1000, a couple metric cruisers and my current build of an evo electra glide. Love em all for several different reasons!

I have an HD bagger... LOVE IT!! Your fat boy build inspired me and I bought an older Springer Softail and tore it down and took 5 months to get it on the road. I enjoy riding it locally, but it is a work out compared to my bagger. I respect the dudes who ride those old bikes all over the country. Look forward to your performance upgrades!

I'm your age, I use my bike like a car, commuting, errands, grocery runs and such, so I added a top case just to secure my helmet and jacket. 2015 FJ-09, really liking the Harley's, but just can't fit in the budget now. Belated Happy Birthday.

I have a 06 Heritage with stage IV engine that I love. The bike is very versatile I can remove my bags and windshield in seconds. I usually drive with every thing off to get with therapy. The first bike I rode was a Husqvarna 125 about 35 years back, after that I was convinced that I will never ride anything faster 😂 love your show

I have a Heritage 2006 with a stage IV engine that I like. I usually drive it with bags and windshield off. I love its versatility, with Harley's detachable kit for the bags it only takes some minutes to make into a vacation bike. This winter I will put Progressive 422 with RAP on it. Thanks for the videos 🤘

My current stable....2013 Ducati Panigale R, 2015 Harley Street Glide, 2017 Triumph Bobber, 2017 Harley Breakout Pro Street, 2021 Road Glide....like you I have had numerous sportibkes, a few hard tail choppers, and a few touring bikes. For decades I rode the sportbikes long distance and would toss earphones in and strap bags to my seat or tank bags, etc....nowadays I simply toss my crap into one of the baggers and roll. Yeah, they dont have the cutting edge performance of even a 15 year old sportbike....but they are EXTREMELY nice to ride and you can absolutely get aggressive with them. Both mine have ohlins suspension and I have done them up EXACTLY how I want them to be....just so many different options on what you can do to them to make them yours. I will always want some type of non-harley performance type bike but if I could only have 1 bike, the bagger would be it as it can really do pretty much ANYTHING

I started out in the mid 1980's on a 1974 Honda CL175. Within a year, I added a 1973 CB350. A couple years later, after a drunk driver hit me on the 350, I got a 1978 Suzuki GS400. I replaced my smaller bike with a 1981 Yamaha SR250. After the engine in the Suzuki seized, I got a 1978 Honda Hawk (CB400TII). I rode that for at least ten years before I started having engine problems (I'm guessing it was the oil pump). At that point I was down to 1 running motorcycle, and it didn't run very well. Then I got my current ride, a 1982 Honda GL500 Interstate. At some point I got a 2003 Suzuki GZ250 because my wife decided she wanted to learn how to ride and get her license. That never happened, but I still had fun riding it around before I sold it. That was the only motorcycle I ever sold. It was also the only one that didn't have a trunk and/or saddle bags on it. On a side note, my GL500 almost has low mileage again.

My main rider is a 2016 Triumph T120 (1200), I just rebuilt a 1977 Honda CB750 Super Sport... I have some footage of it on my channel. Picked up a little 250 for my wife to learn how to ride... kinda converted it into a little street tracker for her (good ergonomics for her). Love all bikes... really digging this Indian Dark Chieftain. Great to see you Scott ... keep the vids coming brother! BTW, I'm in South Bay, we should ride some time in the future!

Baggers will MAKE your ride life. I have a 2001 Road King set up like a west coast Chicano Vicla bike. It’s loud and rude and nasty. I love it. I guess it’s kind of a “bar hopper”. I also have a 2020 Street Glide and it’s mostly stock. Of course I have pipes and a few little things on it. But the AMOUNT that I ride has went up like a rocket. Ride where ever I can and wherever I have to go. Baggers are my favorite.

everything you you stated are my exact thoughts for "going to the dark side" I rode rice rockets, and naked cruisers...now i have a pro street hard tail chopper. She's a looker, but not great for long tours. I'm in a riding club now and I had to bow out of some really great rides bc i didn't think i would enjoy the long rides. Also, can't take the wife out for a spin. I went just about over night to falling in love with the street glide. The options are great. i mean, yeah....freakin cruise control??!! Hopefully I'll have a new set of keys in hand tomorrow! Thanks for the video!

I’ve always had both but never at the same time, right now I have a 2005 triumph speed triple 1050 but I am in the market for a Harley for me and the wife. I want her to go out and ride with me she will not get on a sport bike lol so Harley it is. Probably going with a street glide with the 117 cheers 🤙

I have two Boulevards. A Savage, and an s83. I've ridden a few other cruisers from friends and family and once a sport bike. The sport bike I rode was a ton of fun. It felt so much safer in the turns and just way more capable. I would love to own one and I'm sure I will eventually, but I've been finding that as much as I like riding aggressive I think what I enjoy the most is when I'm just relaxing riding down some country roads I've never been on and checking out the scenery. So maybe I should try out a bagger some time.

I have a weird question for you. You have roughly 8 bikes do you keep all of them insured at the same time? That seems like it would be really prohibitive. Or do you just ensure them when you want to ride them?

I've always been a bagger person. I use mine for commuting. I had no interest in carrying my work stuff back and forth in a backpack. I lack diversity. I have a Kawasaki Vulcan S, Indian Springfield, and Honda Goldwing Trike. I would love more diversity but I struggle with the cost / benefit. I don't see spending the money plus expenses on something that I'm only going to be be able to ride in certain occasions.
