That was a massive ice cream! Thanks for the interesting run, Jan. 🙂👍 I'm finding that the ZE50 R110 does everything we ask of it, and then some. Average consumption in Summer is turning out to be a solid 5.6 miles per kWh / 9 km per kWh. So a journey of 400 km without needing to recharge the car is achievable, depending upon terrain, head winds and weather. Slow recharging is definitely the downside of the Zoe, but it's not too bad if we have a safety/comfort/food break while the battery is being topped up. So thank-you for convincing me to buy one.

I had the same issue on that Plug on my Ioniq 28kwh bev and also switched to the other cable. Sent Ecars a note about it. Shame i didnt notice you there filming. Enjoyed the Video.

I have a lapel mic but didn't bother hooking it up in car before driving away. Camera is a osmo pocket and the wobbliness is the face tracking. Must experiment more!

Which I had.. The electronics behind the rear view mirror are to big to use my normal spot and I think the ZE50 window is curved more so my GoPro looks crooked.. Will experiment!

Other cars may charge faster on dc but not ac and also they maybe less efficient so need faster charging , never thought my 43 ac kw Zoe ever got above 40 ac

Still free up north , but who would pay for it the way it is , 43 ac kw charging dead , dc ccs taking over , chademo few and far between , Esb upgrades coming and some replacements started , some other networks coming but number of chargers at each sight generally 2 or less, 4 22ac chargers in Lisburn cinema , uk network 36 p kilowatt

how many cars decide to drive to Dublin and need to recharge before the infrastructure is maxed out. I bet its about 10 (not allowing for any out of order)

I would say less than that if they all need to charge at the same, limited spots.

Also, you have to remember that the junction 14 on M7 is along the motorway to the second and third biggest cities in the Republic.. This is why it's one of the busiest spots, if not the busiest..

you got 30kwh in your 45min stay that is far short of the 50kw charger , you are missing 7kwh (and a half) :)
