I saw the concept bike at the Long Beach show, loved it! The wheel base length looks awesome. Should be a good ride for us folks over 6 foot tall. Can’t wait. Thanks for having it at the show.

I’m in Oz & have already put down a deposit, obviously waiting on seeing it in the flesh before “finalising” the deal. I loved the initial concept R18 more than this second iteration, only for the bikini fairing on the front. Personally I like the stripped back version, hence I’d be removing said fairing asap. Gotta say I bloody loved it from the first pic I saw. I’ve owned 4 boxer’s & still own two. Hoping this will fill the “void” in my shed next year!🤞🏻😎👍🏼

EICMA....must go sometime, nothing like Italy/Milan to show off bikes. Justin then Tommy must have been both blown away first uncovering then riding R18/2. It takes a bit of time to get your eyes focussed on the transformation from the original R18 Concept which I saw in the flesh at Garmisch-Paternkirchen. I've just checked out some still images of the bike in red. I have to say it looks incredible! It's kept its breathtaking looks but made it fit for the road, good job BMW. Thank you for another stunning episode.

I prefer the original R18 Concept look compared to the R18/2. I hope that it will be a choice for me, as a buyer. Black is black is black! Of course, I have no doubts about the bike itself. I am a BMW motorcycle fan and a BMW (650i convertible) auto fan. I drive both!

Beautiful machines, I think there will be a market for this bike. I don’t see one in my garage, being it’s a boulevard cafe cruiser but great work. Have yet to own a BMW, but some day, if I can convince myself of their reliability.

I´m a big fan of BMW boxer engine and I was missing a BMW Custom bike since the launch of R1200C with boxer engine. I´ve been riding Harley-Davidson for a long time and now I´ve got the R1250 GSA and the new boxer engine is awesome. But I do miss a Custom position for riding I'm glad that BMW will be launching a custom biker with boxer engine, well done! My question is, will the R18 have a passanger seat or just a solo seat? Looking forward to the R18! Cheers

Please keep bold and bright colours as well, the world does not revolve around dark greys, blacks, dark reds, dark blues. I bought a San Marino Blue RT and get nothing but compliments about the colour! It is a constant complaint here in Canada (and I’m sure North America) that we have to wait every 5 years to get a nice bright bold flashy colour. Otherwise keep up the excellent engineering! Waiting for the RT refresh, hoping for the full digital electronic setup like the other bikes and hopefully Apple CarPlay / Android Auto.

I own three BMW MC's. I certainly wouldn't say I won't own another, I will say absolutely I would never buy one of these. Unless one wants a bar hopping bike why buy one? Lots of Harley riders and Harley bikes are the bar hopping style, I often tell them so. Looking 'cool' as they bar hop from one bar to another is what their best at. This R 18, or any similar MC would be useless as a MC for living on the road, it would be useless as a weekend bike...Doesn't impress me, certainly not worth my money..

I liked the conecpt bike but the R18/2 is not so attractive. You must customize it like a Harley to have a perfect looking bike. I hoped almost 100% of the concept bike was coming. A nearly perfect bike without customizing effort. I am bit disappointed.

If it has a good fuel tank which gives a good range of 300 kilometers minimum, I sign immediately! Hello from FRANCE, please! , think of the big rollers in long distance, by giving the motorbike a good minimum autonomy of 300 kilometers! ...
