I lived in northern Arizona near the Navajo and Hopi native Americans. They are such beautiful people. So kind and gentle. Really great people to be around.

Sad that, they are wiped out because of their kindness :(

What a beautiful blessing. If only all cultures and religions had that attitude towards animals…

Sadly these bears are going to need all the help they can get since Agent Orange decreed that is once more legal to hunt bears that are hibernating
@Agui0077 жыл бұрын
Burdie Birdie I thought that myself. Humans who have no peace or respect in themselves certainly do not, for nature! Any animal that is hunted should only be for sheer survival and not a trophy for the ego. The first nations had so much and now look at it.

Bear hunting should be legal. But only unarmed hand-to-hand combat should be allowed. See how tough our hunters are then...

Because it looks wrong. So young. Orphan, they know nothing eg. hunting for body warmth protein.

Dreamers grand standing. Even if WSPCA. This is asinine Cruelty. How are young bears going to survive? Haven't learned to hunt. For their "vital" body warmth Protein. And they left area bears while still sedated.

they woke a bear, put the bear back to sleep- what was the point? and the blessing? seems like something white man taught the Indian to do, i just don't see ancient Indians taking the chance waking a bear.
@nyasha266910 жыл бұрын
linda boyce The bear was relocated away from people back to its home. I don't see what's wrong with the blessing and so what if someone else taught them? Sometimes different practices combined with regular ones are very good
@kevinrichter867810 жыл бұрын
Why do you think white man taught them this ? The natives have been blessing animals and nature for a long time, you would be amazed at how close a person can get to a hibernating bear, I run into Black Bears in the middle of summer all the time, I have been within 5 to 15 feet of 300 pound bears quite a few times, you just have to know how to deal with the situation.
