This channel motivated me to start chess years ago, and videos like this one motivated me to purchase the mammoth book of the world’s greatest chess games. If you don’t already have that book, I highly recommend it. There are so many cool games in it for you to cover on the channel

I love how Nezhmetdinov started as the obscure nemesis of Tal on ASMR Chess and now he's enjoying top billing

Rashid Nhezmetdinov even though an International Master could have been stronger than Tal. The GM title was especially hard to get in the time h was an active player. He also was aggressive like Tal but more accurate with the moves. Interesting character

Hell yeah, I love these historic games! While I watch almost everything you put out, these analyses are always my favorite. Fantastic job as always. Also, I noticed a lot of folks wanting the Chessup board back and I just wanted to say I enjoy both. The Chessup board is hella slick, but there's something so cozy about the wooden board too. I'm glad you go back and forth!

This and the recent Tal video have been fantastic, if you get the chance, more historical games would be greatly appreciated. One thing to note though is that the backstory setup for the tal video is unmatched, if there is more history like that I’d love to hear it :)

May I ask a question: at frame 11:05, just before you moved to f5, couldn't you have sacrificed the bishop on h6 in order to get the fork for the knight on f6? And 1 more: at the end Nb4# also? I love your videos! Thank you!

hey! i have a video idea. guess the player. you show us one game, along the way, you drop hints as to who it may be, and reveal in the end. the player we guess is playing with white pieces, and it’s a game they won. let me know how it sounds! thank you for the amazing content!

If you're looking for more great attacking games to cover, have you ever seen So-Nakamura, from the 2015 Sinquefield Cup? It's a great Kings Indian game: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJLWpWupd653npY

i don't even have the wherewithal to play chess anymore since I was 7 and learning so the simple things you say like "so and so did this to defend this square" blows my mind nowadays bc I always saw the pieces as more important than their positioning in chess, growing up I always thought positioning was of course important but not THE most important thing, so falling asleep to these videos are a both enlightening and relaxing experience
