A Beautiful Song (NieR: Automata) -Dual Mix-

Here's the first mix from NieR: Automata! This combines the vocal and 8-bit versions of A Beautiful Song from the Amusement Park Boss theme. Gameplay is by me. Enjoy!

So far, most of this game's boss music sounds fit for either a penultimate or final boss fight. They have just the right amount of "the end" in their pieces, if that makes any sense.

Nier 1 was the same way. I recommend looking up the boss theme 'Blu Bird'. Keep in mind, that song was for Hansel and Gretel, who were literally the very first non-tutorial boss you face.

get into a hacking portion and pause, use the E-drug and pause, get the official soundtrack, or buy those CDs for the in-game jukebox. These are all viable ways to hear the 8-bit version in full.

I'm sure it would also work if you went into chapter select to go back and fight her after you unlock debug mode by setting the debug mode to force 8 bit music.

I have 2 questions for the creator of the dual mix 1 exists a defend/protection ability in this game? 2 why you panicked during the battle at 1:06?

1. Your defensive options consist of a dodge, similar to the one in Bayonetta in which it functions like a dash, but if you dodge right before you get it, you initiate a special animation in which you can do a special attack if you press a button after. Second, there is no guard button. There is a Counter chip you can equip that lets you do a parry by tapping the left analog stick perfectly in the direction of the physical attack. 2. I was trying to gauge if i could run while dodging the lasers (its the first time I encountered the move). I figured that I couldn't dodge it by just running straight so I ran in a serpentine fashion. It didn't work though. :P

The parry is stricter than the Guard move in Kingdom Hearts. And you should play the other Kingdom Hearts games (Like 1 or 2). They are much much better control wise compared to 358/2 Days.

theultimateonejpsx I see them on KZbin and I think Kingdom Hearts 358/2days is under rated it's a good game for such "old" console. and it was challenging after all (the g*d dam Necro plant(or whatever his name was) with his bugged hit-box)

I'd like to add that, regarding defensive options, there is two Pod Programs that generate barriers, one for repelling melee attacks, one for ranged attacks. I'm not sure how effective they are though, might be worth toying around with them though.
