I went out and ripped on my mako3 yesterday and it was flying great. I hadn't thrown it in around 6 months. My form has gotten a lot better so it was going way further then before when I had just started out. Just saying, if your disc isn't preforming like you envisioned it, then it could just be you. Give it some time.

​@@JustDisc Gstar and 173g. So far this spring I have been loving my new Wraths though. Also a Crave. I like to throw forehand and those discs just seem to feel so good when they leave the hand. Can you recommend some good mids for forehand? I find myself needing a mid for upshots around trees that I can get a clean throw with forehand. I have not found a putter for forehand either. Most of mine are too deep.

You mention that discs are heavier than frisbees but frisbees used in ultimate frisbee are way heavier from what I noticed; thrown correctly, they can go far. Great video tho.

Thanks Max! They are heavier than regular frisbees that you play catch with, but ultimate frisbees are similar at 175gs 👍

@@JustDisc Good point, I'd love to try one of those disc that are close to that weight (assuming there are any good starter disc that an ultimate player like myself can easily pick up on).
