Explore how the North Eastern Maryland Amateur Radio Contest Society (NEMARCS) contests virtually, without an actual, physical clubhouse using social media tools like Discord with live video streaming!
In this personally engaging clip, we address the very basics of ham radio sport, or contesting. Terminology, objectives and scoring basics are all covered at a very high, introductory level!
The use N3FJP’s contesting tools are also mentioned and shown in use during a contest.
The ‘soft side’ or ‘personal aspects’ of contesting are revealed during interviews and some humorous clips to fill in the gaps between topics!
