Holly Macaroni you teached me more about sailing than literally a week od watching other sea of thieves cannal. I mean they are like more focused at face to face combat and no one teaches about saling that good. This bucketing over reparing tip will save me do many time. I cant count how many times i sunk because i was trying to stop water and repair first. Now ship combat will be easy. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Also You could do a video about cannon shots how aim better You know. Luv to ya and i am really hoping your cannal will grow much much bigger bcs you deserve it. ❤️❤️

Well it mostly comes down to how many players you have. Sloops are by far the strongest when it comes to pvp because 1 person can do so many things. One person can use the cannon but also control sails and even repair quickly as needed. The person steering can also do all of these things. On top of that, you don't have to move at all to bucket the water out of the ship, so it is extremly fast and can make clutch saves. If you watch my flameheart video, you will see me and my buddy had about every single hole on our sloop, and we didn't sink. This is because of extremely fast bucketing and repairing. Brigs are great of PVP simply because they are the fastest ship in most situations and have 2 cannons on the side so it has great fire power, allowing for both specialty bombs and normal cannon shots to be fired at the same time. Galleons are very slow. They turn slow, then move sails slow, the have 4 cannons so you can only take advantage of the extra firepower if every other role on the ship is sacrificed (there will be no one left to steer, repair, bucket, ect...). The only advantage really is the extra crew member but in most situations, the galleon is not that good UNLESS you have a really strong crew. A good crew can sink ships insanely fast but takes a lot of cooridnation to make sure the ship can even aim properly at people.

well then both ships should be able to hit each other and it's a battle to the death. A person from either ship can jump into the water and if the ship continues to circle around, it should end up near your locations and you can board and anchor.

1st: Keep them from shooting back. Blunderbombs will knock the pirates off the cannons and heel the enemy ship to throw off their aim. Curse balls can disable the pirates or the ship in many ways; just prioritize keeping them from shooting back. Even well aimed cannonballs can knock pirates off the cannon or force them to go heal. If you achieve that first goal before they do, the next step is to stop them from moving. Anchor balls, rigging balls, and chain shots are great at this. You could even send a boarder to drop their anchor manually. If at any point they start shooting again, yield to priority one. Now you are circling a ship that is dead in the water. If your enemy achieves that first goal first, you should break away from the circle. Abandon the cannons (since you can't use them anyway) and focus on moving the ship to safety. Once you are out of their reach, repair and try again. This is just my experience and is a general formula. Analyze the situation and take into account the different ship types and crew skill levels. Results may vary.
