I had a lot of fun this season with the pirates life tall tales but that was as much as I played until 2 days ago when I practiced my cannon aim with my brother, I don’t think the game is dying, if they updated the game in small updates between the big updates then I would play it more frequently through out the season, like the comment if you read the whole thing

Read the whole thing mc! I don't think it's dying either buddy. I would play it more too if the small updates were there in between but that's okay! Hopefully we will hear about season 4 soon!

Everyone looks at a game in their own perspective. Some people believe the game’s dying, and some people don’t. The game’s been getting loads of big and small updates since launch. Even tho the game has its bugs, most of them aren’t game breaking. Some people only focus on the pvp aspect of the game, and when they lose in pvp they get frustrated (who wouldn’t) but they take their anger out on the game. Hitreg is a big issue and it hasn’t been fixed since launch but I’m still lovin the game to death. It’s my #1 fav. Idk *why* people say it’s dying, but I seriously doubt it is

Hi lemzzz! Thanks for a great reply! It is also one of my favorite games but I'm at a point where I have done everything so much that I just show up for updates for a few weeks and max my plunder pass for the season. The game is so much fun but does have some frustrating aspects to it. A lot of problems this game has would be fixed by simply adding end game content for pirate legends that could be fun.

@@Schrogs I can definitely agree with you on that. The game has its stale moments at times and it could become really annoying to play this game only. I play the game more than any other game I play, but I also have fun on others so I don’t let sot spoil it for me. Endgame PL content would be amazing for the game, but only time will tell when we get the update. The way I look at it is to hop on something else once in a while. It’s nice for even the greatest pirates to take a break from sailing for a day or two

just because someone doesn't play a game anymore doesn't mean it's dying. A lot of people left Overwatch and sure I can say it's a dead game because I don't play it, but that would be a lie. The game (SoT) is thriving, I just wish there was more to do in between big Season releases. Also saying the game isn't worth the price it is at right now is ridiculous. There is so much content and every update is free. I don't understand how you can say it's not worth it. Last thing because this comment is getting long, but people forget that Rare and Disney have a deal. Like Rare now has the ability to use anything from PoTC and I doubt they're going to take that for granted.

I don't really have time to go back and rewatch the video but I'm pretty sure that I said the game is not dying and that the game is worth it at its price point especially if you get it on sale. Whenever people ask me if they should buy this game I always tell them yes, especially if they can get it on sale.

I agree with a lot of what you said but that thing on fixing hit reg is wrong. The reason it’s bad is because of the servers. I’m almost certain the game doesn’t match make by region. They won’t have to redo the whole game, only how they match make. Which isn’t that hard if you are a big company which rare and Microsoft is.

Sure 40 bucks + free dlc's, best policy by big publisher. (worth it) But i simply have no players to enjoy the game , so i stopeed after the TT's(100% boring as hell to mess with all the bugs to get it; 8 times the underwater level) to play it, because there is no new open world event like fight davy jones randomly. For me the most content is boring... and the meta now, it sucks. Crack the mast and blow them up... Also it have huge weakness... Hitreg. I want to hit where i aim not tossing a coin. So from a perpectiv of semi-profesional fps player, its awful. And no matchmaking... No pve servers.... and and and... Had a few discussion about it and every i talked about pve-servers the most people told me that it would split the community. The fact alone that they want to bring to pve server and prefer to sacrifice their new and old casuals for the happiness of the hardcore pvp players how bad things really are for Sea of Thieves. Also i met only really toxic people in eu-west. I quited too, not for they are better then me, but for all the verbal attacks and nonesense. like raping me on my sloop without sunck. Also i was interupted 75% of time i met someone on a try for TT. Dont know if it other on other servers but EU servers are toxic like hell. Also all players there use any possible exploit they found... Dont know if i came back, the next update must be dope otherwise i would not install it again. So for me is SoT not dying, its dead. A dead rat that driftes on a liveless sea. Eaten by toxic maggots that do not even notice that they are sinking their own boat.

Man I am so sorry to hear all that. Players can be super toxic and brutal in this game and can completely ruin the experience for people. I agree that the game needs more content and that the tall talles get old. I am super bummed that they never added davy jones as a random event. Like instead of a skelton ship pulling up next to you, it could be a low chance to have it be davy jones and it would be an epic battle for a lot of loot. Such a bummer I would love to see PVE servers added. It's not that I don't like PVP, in fact I enjoy it quite a bit, but I simply want to play this game with more than 3 friends. I wish we could have a full server of 24 of us and play together. We could do all sorts of fun events. Ship races, 3v3 battles, 2v2v2, or an all out free for all. You could do team death matches at an island, do 24 man tall tales, and so much other fun or wacky stuff. This game really needs more content either way and it gets very old after some time.

I think we know what season 4 is gonna be based on the trailer. An event. And some new loot. That's it. Edit: Its not dying, but its on the edge of dying, surely you can agree

Insiders have said there will be a little bit more than that. So don't be disappointed yet. And I actually was hoping this wasn't going to be an event. I think it might just be random caverns you can explore and complete for loot. If it is a world event, that would be okay but not as cool I feel like. Anyways, let's hope it's fun.
