i know im a bit late butttttt... i had an idea where upgrades can be balanced out and you get 3 slots to add certain upgrades. like armour plating that would increase durability but decrease mobility. or light wooden frame prone to getting shredded but at the gain of being faster and more agile (further letting pve and pvp players catagorize to their playstyle) and other upgrades such as that to improve on your cannons, masts, sails, ect

Personally I go at an angle to where the dock is parallel with my ship and then I stop right across from the dock and then if Im not close enough I just use the zip line or whatever it's called and send it to the dock and run across it

my video was looking weird in the edit and i got bummed out so looked to youtube for help found your video and learned what i needed to do to and then applied the settings best for my video and bro it looks great so thank you so much, i used some spill suppression as well and some matte clean up, which are all under effects control for ultra key effect, again thanks a lot

My friends and I are noobs at this game and we kept getting destroyed by skeleton ships. This video helped a ton and my personal experience has proven that your tips are universal to ai and real players. The only times that we've lost to other players is when they board our ship but besides that your video has allowed us to win every ship battle against other players. I would like to add that whoever is on the wheel should be the one getting water out. Getting water out takes only about 10 seconds so that amount of time away from the wheel doesn't make a difference. The crew mates on the cannons should be on the cannons full time during a fight. Less people on the cannons means less firepower and less firepower means taking a loss
