In Andrew Loomis's book he says if you can't draw a circle you can use a round object to start off. 🙂

Drawing is complicated and frustrating Even after years of doing it It never gets any easier You need to have NO LIFE AT ALL TO SIT THERE AND DRAW ALL DAY AND FOR WHAT.. THAT AINT REALITY AND ANYONE THAT DRAWS ANYTHING CAN NEVER DUBLICATE ANYTHING IN THE EXACT SAME WAY OR EFFECT SO THEY BASICALLY WINGING IT IT'S A FLUKE..IT'S ALL IT IS THAT'S WHY WHEN YOU ASK EM THEY ALWAYS REPLY WITH THE SAME LAME NON SENSE ANSWER THAT EVERYONE REPEATS WHEN THEY CAN'T RECREATE SOMETHING THEY JUST CALL IT ART IT'S ONLY TALENT IF YOU CAN REPEAT THE EXACT SAME RESULTS! AND IF YOU CAN'T REPLICATE OR REPEAT THE SAME RESULT IN ANYTHING THEN IT DOESN'T COUNT

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosever believeth In him shall not perish but have everlasting life." Grace is that which is not deserved and yet given anyway. Mercy is when God gets in front of what you do deserve. God is fiercely protective for that which he finds to be his own, and will requite them that are faithful unto he, yea, those who have not begun negativity, pessimism, and resentful natures and spew not a copiousness of uncaring selfishness, the workers of iniquity who see it right to do wrong in the sight of the Lord and change not their ways, who say none shall see my wrong and Love is of no importance. Pray for wisdom and treasure God with all the heart, read the KJV and study diligently that none of you be deceived. Read even this. Isaiah 28:9-10 Matthew 4:4 Proverbs 4:7 Psalms 1 Hebrews 11:1 & 6

I dont understand how the measures and the compass opening are made, are them set by default based on the loomis method or you just measure the refence photo and then put the same measures on paper? Sorry if im not clear enough but i really dont understand and i would like to learn the method

Just fabulous, not simply the final product, but the method and techniques. I would dearly love to be that good first time, but realise there has to be a lot of practice first and my patience threshold has dwindled over the years. One thing I have wondered and not found a suitable answer for, on paper anyway as digital tablets don't have that problem. I have been watching many manga artist videos as opposed to this type of drawing, so I wonder what to do about the construction lines? With manga or cartoonists in general I believe, they do one of two things. They either do an initial drawing with the constructions lines visible, ink it in, then erase extraneous pencil marks - which I always felt can affect the final ink. Or, as I did when I drafted engineering plans, they overlay a new, clean sheet over the final drawing and using a light table will ink directly onto this new sheet. Hope you can answer this for me, cheers.

Thank you. The construction lines are drawn with a light grade of pencil which i erase it with a kneaded eraser before and while shading the drawing.
