We're excited to be launching Wisecrack 2 with our first video coming out Thursday October 31st. It's a breakdown of the recent trend of "eat the rich" plots in film and television. In the meantime . . . sorry Thug Notes is never coming back.

Really excited to finally hear when its going to be coming out! Been waiting since the first announcement, eager to get back into breaking down film, television, and video games on a philosophical level. As someone whose childhood was heavily influenced by what i learned from video games, one series in particular, known for its intricate, sometimes convoluted storytelling, and as well as deeply rooted philosophical examinations, i would absolutely DIE to see you tackle unraveling the Metal Gear Solid series in all its glory. Would be interested to see both an examination of the games individually and an examination of what carries throughout the series as a whole. Looking forward to it Michael! You better not fail me on this...

Brilliant to segmentinto a second channel. As far as what I would love Wisecrack to explore? I would love more content based on the decisions to even make a movie. For example; "What do adaptations say about the source material?" (Shining, Lord of Tthe Rings). "How do successful sequels make a franchise feel new?" (Aliens, Terminator 2, Empire Strikes Back). "What makes certain films timeless?" (Casablanca, Citizen Kane). "What ethical responsibilities do filmmakers have when portraying real-life events?" (Shindler's List, JFK) I got more--but it would probably be annoying. Thank you from a long-time subscriber.

I'd love a take on 80s/90s consumerism in toy-media. Think He-Man, My Little Pony and the like. They were [in many if not most cases] shows using rote scripts that were intended to entice viewers into buy the associated product. Think - an effigy in a storied moment of a piece of media you love, right in your hands. Bonus points if you connect that all to consumerist habits of modern adults
