Nice ideas for your extra room off the barn. Think an outside hang out space would be nice! Maybe with sliders in the wall that would give you the best view, a wood burning stove, a table to play board games/art projects on, a radio or stereo, a comfy couch, etc. 😀

Congratulations on 100k🎉😃👏🏼👏🏼. As for the space in the barn I agree with quite a few others that have commented on a multi-purpose space. When your out building in the larger area where things can get dusty and dirty, the smaller space could be a space to go into and warm up. Having a wood or other heating source of your choice will help those long winter days and keep your projects moving forward😃👍🏼. You can have multi-purpose areas. Painting area(for small projects and kid projects, smaller cleaner- wood finishing area, lounge/reading/video processing area, so that you can all be together no matter what you are creating-:). You also might think to add a mini kitchen area to store cool drinks and food items to have for snacks, picnic time meals when working outside on projects or other things, when you’d rather not go into house and worry about your work/project clothing?? Definitely a deep sink to be able to wash hands and clean paint brushes...etc. This then leads me to suggest what about a bathroom with a shower area. Does not need to be to elaborate but can be available for those tough days of working outside, like when you came out of that mud hole covered in mud😃hehe. It will also help as the kids grow to have an additional bathroom on the property. This will allow you to have options and be able to have space for each other to move about during the long winter months😃👍🏼 Another plus is if you ever have a gathering you could utilize the barn and have the facilities for your you and guest and not have to have house traffic. You both are so talented and work well together. I’m sure what you decide to do with the space will be amazing. Here’s to hitting 200k in half the time it took to reach 100k. Like what you have done with the barn and appreciate the reuse philosophy over the buy new. I was wondering if you had thought of maybe turning the small room in the barn into an arts and crafts room for the kid's, add a few windows for natural lighting, if there is a peak to the roof add the clear sheets to allow more lighting, a draft table for Bell to draw on, paint easel, overstuffed chairs or couch and you have a place for the kid's to play and just have fun. Keep up the great work.

Reminder: Be sure to install a winter safety rope out to the barn (with steel fenceposts before ground freezes). You can plug the holes some way if you want to remove posts for rest of year. I hope your car will be happily in the barn, away from all the snow etc... and ready immediately in case of emergency.. Extra room could be a family craftsmanship room. Room to work on small builds, arts crafts, potting plants, etc. A small fridge, sink, shelves, seating, tv radio, just a neat atmosphere for each family member to be able to create. And a place for Ashley to keep her saddles and other equipment away from the mice and rats and mold!

Doug, it looks like your new Ryobi is working out for you. I got such a kick out of Maverick unfolding the build instructions and reviewing the information for the Ryobi that I choked on my water. Don't know much about the little room off the barn. I was thinking of a cellar with floor to ceiling shelving for canned goods, a chest freezer and dry storage area. But, then you said maybe a room to hang out in...so, what about putting a fold up ping-pong table, dart board and all of your collected family board games out there for recreation? Something relaxing for together time. Ashley, I couldn't be happier for you reaching your personal goal of "100,000 subscribers." That took some real work and dedication to achieve.
