Tip: If you put too much liquid in your mashed potatoes, add some instant mashed to thicken. I just keep a few bags of the "4 serving" packages of instant mashed just for this reason. It works great and all you do is stir it in you soupy mashed ones. Love your videos!!

Summers..as a kid, two week camping /road trip with family, swim team at the pool, play like crazy with the neighborhood kids in one of the 7 or so back yards on the block, as an older kid, teen, hang out at the pool, then work at the pool. Good times.

The Krusteaz brand of honey cornbread- we eat it like cake. 🤣 it’s so good. So sweet. Growing up, my mom always made Jiffy cornbread (so good) and added TWO CUPS of sugar to two boxes of mix. Now I cut that in half for jiffy and it’s still super sweet. But she was from Louisiana and I grew up in Texas. And when my CA husband began eating cornbread he didn’t understand why it was so sweet.

I think the patio table is so funny because there is a place in the middle of the legs for an umbrella but no hole in the middle of the glass tabletop. Lol. Obviously it was replaced at some point. I do like the rug! As far as the table and chairs, salty Florida air wrecks everything so keep it until it falls apart!

I was very young when my grandmother passed away, but I remember hearing family talk about all the nice new towels and sheets that were unused. Kim, I always enjoy hanging out with you and your family. Yesterday I got to hang out with my youngest Great Grandchild before she went to dance class. What a joy she is at 6 she has no idea how much joy she puts in my life. I showed her pictures of me when I was about her age. I would have loved to make videos of all the places we lived. Just didn't have the technical things you have available to you. My Granddaughter's do and this is such a great thing to be able to do in ones lifetime for all your children to view someday. Oh my..... The potatoes! I do this every time! That's why I always keep a few pkgs of instant buttery mashed potatoes in the pantry.... thickens them up and you can't tell they're in there if you get a name brand. I have not tried them, but a friend got a rug from Ruggable. I'm soooooo tempted. You peel off the top and just toss it in the washer then it reattaches to the no slip back. They have a ton of sizes and designs. Seems so convenient!

I agree with you about not dirtying another bowl but what I do is add all but a little bit of my flour add my baking powder/soda to that bit of flour in the cup and stir. One of the reasons is that those ingredients tend to clump and you might get a bite of pure soda yuck
