Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new around the house happenings! I hope this gives you some homemaking motivation as I share lots of food / recipes and my day with you! I start with breakfast, it was a weekend so I put togther a breakfast board! Then we head to the kids musem for most of the day to spend so. e time with the family! We come home and make lunch I made a snack, rum balls, that I've been meaning to make, and then I share a dinner recipe with you1 It's a go to and a family favorite!
Italian Chicken Recipe:
1/4c Oil
3/4c brown sugar
1 packet italian dressing mix
Italian seasoning
garlic powder
Salt and Pepp
Rum Balls:
1 (13.5 oz) box of graham cracker crumbs
1 (12 oz) bag of chocolate chips, melted
5oz (or 10tbl) Evaporated Milk
1 Tbl cocoa powder
2 tbl rum extract
1 1/2 c walnuts, ground
4 Tbl corn syrup

I went to Walmart this morning and they had a dash waffle maker in the shape of a pumpkin on clearance for $5! Naturally I bought it. But when I checked my receipt it was only $2.69! Every time after your hands are in water put lotion on them and rub jojoba oil into your cuticles..at least as much as possible! 😁 It will help tremendously! 💅

My mom made "true" rum balls, if you know what I mean. She always froze them in a coffee can with the layers separated with wax paper. I bet that if you formed the balls and froze them, you could roll them in sprinkles when you thawed them out. Good luck.💕

Your breakfast boards are always so pretty and inspiring! Makes my boiled egg and oatmeal breakfasts look sad🤣 I'm right there with you on pushing hobbies to the side. Mine is photography, and I use to do family shoots all the time but the last one I've done was 2 years ago. Sometimes life gets in the way and we forget to breathe.

Norwex has an amazing vegetable/potato scrubbing cloth that I Love for scrubbing carrots so I don’t have to peel them. It just scrubs the dirt and long hairs off. The cloth is amazing!!

I used to have two 12 count muffin tins. Then I got all fancy and made my own eggs cups. Yeah, I could NOT get it cleaned. I finally threw the pan away. Using a moistened makeup sponge for concealer makes for a super quick application. I used to use my fingers (which work fine of course!🙂) but a sponge made my routine even faster! I just beep beep boop (the sounds of the sponge tapping in my mind😂) and it’s done! I know you’re an even busier mom than I am so I hope this helps🤍

I find that the Sally Hansen nail hardener works really well if you'd like to try that before going for a manicure. I also get my nails done since I feel better with them, but I get dip. I'm usually in the chair less than 30 minutes! I keep my nails short and rounded, so its a pretty quick process for the technician. I usually listen to a podcast during it :) Just an idea!

Love watching your energy and trying to remember 40 years ago when I had that much energy. Next time you want a new rug for your kitchen think about Ruggable. For one they come with a non skid base and the rug itself can go in the washer. I have three 4x6 ones on three sides of my island. They vacuum great and one at a time they wash great too. They do have runners. 🤗

I just got a new dishwasher in the fall and I got a Bosch. Totally superior. Best dishwasher I've ever had. It says in all instructions to never rinse or wash before u put the dishes in if u do, it actually doesn't clean well. Congrats on your new appliances

I have an OLD KitchenAid dishwasher - a bit noisy but still beats most new models for clean dishes is actually a dishWASHER not a dishrinser. I'll put up with the noise for not having to prewash everything.

I LOVE my Bosch dishwasher! Had it for years and it's still going strong. I'm pretty sure we got the mid-range one too and it's very quiet (the loudest part is when it's draining water into the sink drain). I hope you love yours too and am super excited for you!

Kim the nail glue will make your nails weaker. I dont recommend doing that. Look into collegian or a hair skin and nails supplement.

We did rum balls with alcohol and rolled them in powdered sugar. They had to “ripen” and get sprayed or sprinkled with more rum. If you use whiskey, they are called tipsies. Rum balls are my absolute favorites!!!

You always brighten my day, Kim. I definitely needed this video today. Our air condition unit broke on Friday we found out yesterday the whole thing needs replacing. We live on an extremely tight budget since my hubby had a rollover accident in 2009 that left him disabled. He broke his neck in 2 places, pinned knee in between the steering wheel and door, and lost his long head bicep in his left shoulder. The joint got mangled from the inpact. He also flatlined that day and the day his stomach busted and he battled Covid.

Omg. We have slate lg refrigetor. We built a custom house. 8 years ago. The refrigertor broke...diagnois done. I love the lg front loader washer and dryer. We bought a floor model. My calaphalon griddle is new. Happy mother s day. I paid off kohls credit card. 25.99 is crazy. Being an only child 3 kids drain me. Ugh. My husband had a kid from his college days. I am wiped. I just would be stressed with 4 almost 5 kids. My youngest is 12. The board looks cool. Burned bacon. Ugh. I would flipout.

I have a vivid memory of rum balls-- my grandma always use to make them and I was helping one Christmas, and after rolling them all out I let my dog lick my hands clean.... and that when I realized my grandma used REAL RUM not extract, which I think changes how people like them LOL!

Try adding collagen to your diet for your nails. It is sold at a good price at Costco in the blue container. It will help a lot with your nails. I had the same issue with breaking and splitting and it worked wonders.

You know, we have the lowest range Bosch - LOVE IT! It’s not super noisy, but my kids still can’t hear it when it’s running and open it up, splashing dirty water everywhere 😂

I cut on my granite counter tops ALL of the time, meh🤷‍♀️ Also, perfect timing on the griddle. It looks perfect for our stovetop as well as on the grill!? If that’s the case, I will order one for the cabin as well! Thanks for doing our research for us Kimberly Whisk!! 😁❤️
