While I don't think you are using your kids for views (your content is mostly you cooking and cleaning) some youtubers are using their kids for views to pay their bills, he has said it many times, while being bullied isnt ok ever, when you knowingly post your life online you will get unsolicited advice even a 5 year old kidngergardner knows this, it's how the world works now days. When my grandma was raising kids she would get unsolicited advice from people in stores, or family members, or church, now people get it on Facebook and youtube and instagram..

Party planner tip... Buy a tote..CLEAR.. label it party supplies... Every time you plan a party/get together toss everything you buy into that one box... Then pull it out when setting up... As the party planner for the family get togethers I use this technique and it saves my life ... Love cooking with you...

My KitchenAid mixer was a dumpster dive….not really, but kind of. Someone was cleaning out a rental house, throwing everything away. This included the mixer! My partner asked if he could have it when he saw the gentleman getting ready to toss it in with the metal recycling at Waste Management. I scrubbed it up, and it’s awesome. It’s the almond color, but free makes it so much nicer. 😊♥️

We love you Kim! My favorite laundry "tip" is to do a load of the kids clothes, a load of towels, a load of our clothes, and then bedding. That way in between all the clothes, you have a little break with the easier loads (towels and bedding!)

I agree! Once a portion of the body is injured, that's the area you seem to bump or bite the most!! You should either get a metal brace to put around your thumb, from the drugstore; or make one out of a popsicle stick, or other rigid item. Break it in half, and put it on each side of your thumb, sticking out past your nail. Secure it with medical tape, painters tape, or masking tape. Use it until it has a chance to heal. Make sure you cut your nail back as short as you can, before adding brace. Happy healing!

I always look forward to your videos. It brings me back to my younger years. I raised my sons almost alone. Going to the laundromat was not a fun thing. I taught all my sons to do that chore. Kim, you are an amazing Mom! I grew up in a house that was always picture perfect, white glove clean, laundry always done, nothing ever, ever out of place! Sad to say I don’t have a close relationship with my MoM because she never made time to bond or have any fun with me because the perfect house was her priority. While I appreciate that we always had a meal, at the exact same time!, and laundry was always done; I do wish my mother and I had a bond. So as an adult and mother myself now, I can tell you that your children will remember and cherish the fun times over clean laundry and a spotless house. .You're going to think I'm crazy, but.... when you buy the new dishwasher, maybe you could look into adding another dishwasher on the other side of the sink also. With 5 kids and all the cooking and entertaining you do, I don't think it's unreasonable to have two dishwashers. And the guy could put it in at the same time as replacing the broken one. :-) Love your happy videos.

Yes I definitely relate to the mountain of laundry. I have 5 kids, and when they all lived at home, my laundry just just like yours. I got to it when I got to it. Some days 5 loads, some 1 load. Yellowing of plants can be a sign of overwatering but also a sign of nutrient deficiency. Try adding some blood meal or worm castings on top of the soil, that should help :)

For the outside towels, my mom always made us hang up our towels on the clothes line or over a chair to dry and we would reuse them until they needed to be washed since we would go to the beach/pool/hottub often! Just like bath towels or hand towels don't need to be washed every single use, outside towels don't either 😊

Our dishwasher broke in February and took three weeks for Miele repairman to come n was told it s going to cost $900 to repair ( it was only being used for 7 years or so , only 1/3 of its life according to the repairman ) so we decided to get a new one . Totally understand the frustration of broken appliances in the house

My mom taught me to fold towels lengthwise first, then fold them in half, then in half again. This makes it where you can immediately take it off the shelf and hang it lengthwise, just a little tip to make it a little easier to hang up on the bar. I’m 44 and have have been doing it this way for eons….

I was taught to fold it so it fits in your linen closet (which can vary based on the shelves)...
