Japanese people must be indifferent to cats, or very friendly, because these cats seem to have not been abused by anyone. One of my current cats was a stray who looked very similar to the one in this video. He was so thin that he could run through a chain link fence. When he gets very happy, he licks my fingertips. If I pull my hand away, he'll quickly try to grab it back. If I hold my hands behind my back, he will look from side to side, then pat my body on the right or left leg for that side's hand.
