That's what is being alluded to when Sadeas says it'll be remembered as the most ridiculous thing ever done by an Alethi highprince. When you reread it after knowing, you realize it was in fact a terrible trade, but in the opposite direction.

"Dont press me on this Sadeas" that always sends thrills up my spine. This scene thus far is one of 3 that really sticka with me for way of kings. Just finished it and beginning words of radiance. I expect more scenes to weave into my memory but this is jist 🥰

this was perfectly made i can't imagine the shock on kaladin's face when he heard that a lighteye is willing to bargain bridgemen for a shardblade. And omg the dalinar's voice fits perfectly well the way I imagined and fucking sadeas got what he deserved superb. really love stormlight archive series can't imagine if it's ever made as a Tv series it's going to be a long series but tbh it's going to be massively expensive tv show if it's ever made.

I totally agree! The Graphic Audio experience is awesome and their cast is superb. A TV Series or set of movies would be super expensive but so worth it!

One small detail that I missed at first, Sadeas's guard drew their swords when for all they knew Dalinar and Adolin were about to charge them with shardblades. Sades did not deserve that level of loyalty.

I love how Dalinar did for Kaladin exactly the opposite to Amaram. Amaram had killed his squad to get the sword. Dalinar has given up the Oathbringer to save Kaladin's mates.
