With the destruction of the halo do the girls die? I thought the halo was just a way of activating the defense that is linked to consciousness, that's why sometimes it disappears when the student is sleeping, but I didn't imagine that if it broke they would die

The way the halo works is still being debated in the BA community. The general consensus is that: • It lets the girls take an enormous amount of blunt/piercing/explosive/energy damage without any long term effects but they can still get knocked out by it and also greatly wounded. Even if the halo can help accelerate the healing process, they still need to get medical treatment at that moment or as soon as possible. It can be broken with specific weapons create with that purpose or, just like the soul, if it's damage without repair (like just "giving up") they they can just die.

Arisu defeating Neru is crazy cause if you think about it, this is pretty accurate since Arisu has more superior physical capabilities. The only reason she can't beat Neru this entire time is because Arisu is a sweetheart and afraid to hurt others but once Key took over her body, it's game over for Millenium
