00:00 Hello Everyone!
Norway Chess is a 10-player round-robin featuring Top 5 stars Magnus Carlsen, Alireza Firouzja and Hikaru Nakamura taking place in Stavanger, Norway from 30 May to 9 June. Each of the 9 rounds consists of a classical game where a win is worth 2 points and a loss 0. If the players draw they play an Armageddon game, where the winner earns 1.5 points and the loser 1 point. No draw offers are allowed before move 30.
The 3+2 blitz opener takes place on Monday 29th and will give the winners the chance to pick their pairing numbers for the main event. The classical time control is 2 hours for all moves, with a 10-second increment per move only after move 40. For Armageddon White (the same player who had White in the classical game) has 10 minutes to Black's 7, with a 1-second increment from move 41. Black wins if the game ends in a draw. A tie for 1st place will be decided by two 3+2 blitz games followed, if necessary, by a 5 vs. 4-minute Armageddon game. Official website: norwaychess.no

#suggestion Alireza vs Shahriyar classical game was a really crazy one! The amount of pieces hanging at the end of the game, with half of them being protected by tactics was truly incredible to see, especially because they were playing the last few moves with seconds on the clock. Unfortunately Mamedyarov ended up losing on time despite the increment but still a great game to see live! Would love to see it analysed by the great Agadmator

Nodirbek said in an interview that he immediately spotted queen B2 check for white. There is a video as well where after the game they were discussing the game over the board and Abdussatorov appears to be explaining that 3 Move Winning idea to Tari. He spotted it and never flinched. What a Guy.

Yep, he plays strangely sometimes, I remember when he played in World's Fischer Random in the end of last year, he purposely traded the queen for 2 rooks in a losing position (I mean, the queen was much stronger than 2 rooks in that position), I think most players or even GMs wouldn't even take the trade (he could've retreated) lol He kinda plays like Hans but with more sharper plays like Mamedyarov, Anish and Rapport... He's my favourite of the rising stars (although I think he isn't that consistent sometimes)

2nd comment: 2016 WCC - This is relevant to the 2023 WCC. Please agad cover the other decisive game of the Sergey Karjakin vs Magnus Carlsen 2016 WCC #suggestion What happened is that Magnus lost to Sergey AS WHITE in Game 8 but then compensated for a white loss with A WHITE WIN in Game 10. This is what happened to Liren Ding & Nepo for Games 2 & 4 of 2023 WCC. Why doesn't a drawn match go to the player w/ more black wins (if any) s.t. Sergey Karjakin not Magnus Carlsen is 2016 WCC & Ian Nepomniachtchi not Liren Ding is 2023 WCC? This has happened BEFORE! 1 2022 Accentus Chess960 Vincent Keymer and Nodirbek Abdusattorov both finished with 5.0/7 and tied first. However, as Keymer won more games with Black, he won the tournament on tiebreak. 2 1980 - 1981 candidates tournament 'When the quarterfinal between Portisch and Spassky was tied after 14 games, Portisch was declared the winner because he had won more games with Black.' Actually maybe cover the only 2 decisive games here if not already? #suggestion 3 1983-1984 candidates tournament It wasn't repeated! The premise was the same! Hübner had more black wins than Smyslov before tiebreaks. After tiebreaks were tied, a ROULETTE determined Symslov won!! Actually maybe cover the only 2 decisive games here if not already? #suggestion --- Other suggestions: Women's chess A - Was Kg6 in Dina's 1st GM slaying game in Reykjavik sexism? Like looking down on Dina? B - Anna Cramling's dad beats Mikhail Tal. #suggestion C - Philippine women's chess #suggestion - WGM Janelle Frayna, the female Wesley So, upset Georgian GM (really GM not just WGM) Bela Khotenashvili at the 2022 world blitz. There's a 13-move UNDERPROMOTION puzzle here. [Variant "From Position"] [FEN "6k1/6b1/1p1P3p/6pP/3pPpP1/p2NqP2/6K1/5Q2"] 1. Qd1 a2 2. Qb3+ Kf8 3. d7 Qe2+ 4. Nf2 Ke7 5. Qd5 Kd8 6. Qe6 Bf6 7. Nodirbek is Jewish right? Thank God Nodirbek beat Aryan Tari, an ally of Magnus and who might be a traitor to Iran / Alireza since Magnus cheated Alireza in 2019 blitz WCC. Not sure about traitor but yeah Aryan Tari is an ally of Magnus...not necessarily a bad guy since Aryan is Norwegian. - bad guys: magnus carlsen, garry kasparov, daniil dubov, veselin topalov, hikaru nakamura, ding liren, chess itself - good guys: wesley so, bobby fischer, sergey karjakin, vladimir kramnik, hans niemann, ian nepomniachtchi, 9LX itself - Like 'allies of evil' vs 'axis of evil' that Bobby Fischer said in 2005 in Iceland press conference ( ARNSi0cPu60 ) Fabiano Caruana, Hans Niemann & Bobby Fischer are Jewish American. Coincidence? In 2022 Oct, oprocyona told me: 'Many decisions in tournament chess are made to favor the player that brings in the most sponsorship dollars and views, which is undoubtedly Magnus. There's also no doubt that Magnus generally dislikes americans- he said so on one of the Magnus effect podcast episodes' Hans is American like Bobby, Wesley So, Fabiano Caruana, Maurice Ashley, et al & is Jewish like Bobby, Fabi, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Sergey Karjakin, et al. Coincidence? Magnus' worst defeat was to Wesley So in the classical 2019 wfrcc finals. Magnus lost 3x classical games in a row. When was the last time in fide or pca wc finals a defending champion or higher rated player lost 3x classical games in a row? Also, Wesley So is American. Coincidence? Hans Niemann is like the last straw for Magnus Carlsen who has been fed up with Americans / Jews. I imagine Magnus thinks as follows: (Bobby Fischer would agree with me.) 1 - 'I couldn't beat American Wesley So in the 2019 WFRCC and again in 2020 St Louis 9LX. Damn that nobody "w"esley "s"o who got only 1 win in the 2018 candidates but then next year beats me in 3x classical FRC games in a row.' 2 - 'I couldn't beat Jewish American Fabi or Jewish Sergey in the classical portions of our WCCs.' 3 - '9LX, which I SUCK at, was invented by Jewish American Bobby Fischer.' 4 - 'American Eric Rosen beat me in 9LX.' 5 - 'American Hikaru is overrated and is really just "DECENT".' (Note: Hikaru became rapid WFRCC after betraying the US for Magnus. So never mind.) 6 - 'Canadian-American Andrea Botez doesn't know how knights move.' (Note: Alex & Andrea, unlike their dad, side w/ Magnus over Hans. Guess they're traitors too. So as w/ Hikaru, nvm.) 7 - 'Jewish American Danya almost beat me in lichess. Good thing I cheated.' 8 - 'Jewish Nepo almost beat me in the 2021 WCC. Good thing I cheated.' 9 - 'So far in WFRCC (2019) and St Louis 9LX (2020,2021), there was always an American in 1st place and a European in 2nd place.' (Note: This extended to 2022 for both. So more reasons for Magnus.) 10 - 'American Maurice Ashley was rude to me in the 2017 Paris GCT.' 11 - 'Some aren't even REAL Americans. American Rex Sinquefield is buying all these foreigners to be "Americans". Like I said, the US is "buying nerds"'. 12 - 'The Queen's Gambit is about an American ey? Well because I got only 2nd place in the 2019 WFRCC, NetflixtheQG gets only 5/6 from me! Beth Harmon is just a copy of Jewish Judit Polgar & Jewish American Bobby Fischer. Also, Judit's sibling Susan is Jewish American.' (And then all of a sudden it blows up in Magnus' face like...) 13 - 'Now, this Jewish American Hans beats me with the black pieces. Wait Hans has a history of cheating? Right, I can use cheating as an excuse to be a sore loser. Damn American STLCC for their poor cheating detection. Or STLCC was probably helping Hans cheat. In particular, Chris Bird. I wouldn't quit Tata Steel or Norway chess if Hans beat me there, but I would for the Sinquefield Cup.' . . . . . Source: zs4zpf P.S. Please help get American Wesley So on Jewish American Lex Fridman's podcast. See xcdhgq

@@JanoffVlogsEducationintheUSA Nodirbek could still be Jewish in ethnicity. I am afraid Magnus might discriminate against Nodirbek. Esp since Nodirbek trapped Magnus' bishop in endgame during the 2022 rapid WFRCC God bless America. God bless Uzbekistan. God bless Israel. I heard most of the top Russian players are Jewish. Maybe top players from former Soviet countries are Jewish too. I follow Dave Crenshaw's time Management fundamentals course. I'm a real human being. I use my real name. I genuinely hate Magnus. Good question. Bobby Fischer would agree with everything here. Dr Seuss: 'Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.' NNT: 'A single person with courage can bring down a collective composed of wimps.' I'm Philippine / Filipino / Filipina , love 9LX & hate chess. Thus you can imagine how much I have bias for the US, Wesley So, Bobby Fischer & Hans Niemann and bias against FIDE, Magnus Carlsen, Garry Kasparov & Hikaru Nakamura right? SAYNOTO2900 GOD BLESS AMERICA. You know Gasai how chess became more popular in the US, India & Norway because of when resp Bobby Fischer, Vishy & Magnus became WCC's? It's like that for me when Wesley So became WFRCC. Imagine how I feel that people are praising Magnus, Garry & Hikaru over Wesley So, Bobby Fischer & Hans Niemann when Magnus & Garry are cheaters and when Magnus & Hikaru are fake world champions and baseless accusers. The people are not wrong. I am educating them. The ones who are wrong are FIDE, Garry, Magnus & Hikaru. It's like how Sergey Karjakin is Crimean and pro-Putin. Is that a coincidence? (See 'ugmopp' which is ID of a post by Martin Sornes, a Norwegian chess24 employee or something.) Or, like, would you be surprised if a Japanese person were a 'weeb'? But it's not largely about nationality. 1 - Wesley So isn't even Philippine anymore. 2 - I don't even speak Philippine. 3 - I don't say Bong Villamayor, Daniel Quizon or Janelle Frayna are better or more talented than Magnus. 4 - If it were Nepo instead of Wesley So, then I'd say Nepo rules, and Magnus sucks. 5 - The facts that Wesley So 5A - is American, like Bobby Fischer 5B - is, like Bobby, friends with both Eugene Torre & Lotis Key 5C - like Bobby and me, loves 9LX & hates chess. 5D - like me, looks up, to Bobby as GOAT / MTOAT further fuel my bias. (Another fact: Hikaru Nakamura, a US traitor for siding with Magnus over Hans, doesn't satisfy any of 5B, 5C or 5D.) . . . . . P.S. Please help get Wesley So on Lex Fridman's podcast. See: xcdhgq
