Very interesting. Love the creativity put into the unique designs of the game board. 👍 I live in North Pontiac Michigan, and a very large number of my neighbors are from Mexico. I have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation Mexican immigrants all around me, and my neighbors right across the street, play it outside in their driveway in the summer. It's a pretty exciting game to watch folks play.

Imagine a poleana set, that is in the theme of the besuited Cogs from Walt Disney's Toontown Online and its fan-made offshoots, perhaps with a blue-green herringbone patterned border based on the outfit of the Boardbots from Toontown: Corporate Clash.

1) I found a vintage commercial board game “Pollyanna”, of which the earliest example an eBay search found was 1915.(and Poleana is estimated at 100Y old, so the timings line up.) The board layout is extremely similar. So, it seems likely that “Poleana” started as a “mod” of “Pollyanna”. 2) From what little info I can quickly find elsewhere (seriously AP, this was lazy reporting) the game takes the basic form of a Race Game (like Mancala, Trouble, Parcheesi, etc) but it is more complicated. Apparently it uses a mixture of “dice luck” and skill. I’m imagining it to be a bit more like Backgammon in that way (which for centuries has been reputed to be a perfect balance of Luck and Skill, and by the way is ONE HECK of a lot of fun). 3) I was not easily able to locate one to buy (and obviously, the one to get will have the recessed “dice pit” in the center and the cool Simpsons/Goku customizations. I live in a place with several massive Flea Markets with predominantly Latin sellers and goods. Sounds like “Weekend Fieldtrip” time (:
