My apologies for going off topic, but I have a theory on Prince Caspian I was unable to post to the appropriate video as the comments have been closed. The characters of Trumpkin, Nickabrik, and Trufflehunter are meant to represent the outlooks of spirituality that Lewis outlines in the Screwtape Letters. Trumpkin represents a materialistic worldview, he's bound by logic and what can be perceived by his senses. Nikabrick is the Wizard. He believes in the unseen, but he lacks discernment to cause and effect. Trufflehunter is the true believer. He believes in a spiritual reality, but his interactions are based on faith and belief. As a result, I'd argue that the core theme of the book is faith, believing in the unseen, and ultimately being rewarded for it. In that regard, I actually think that it could be argued is something the movie did right, having aslan be an unseen force through the course of the film. Of course it could be argued this also defeats the purpose of Aslan, and you've covered in depth the butcher job they did on character development already ;)
