You got some very cool stuff there! That Alcoa Aluminum Quad Hopper definitely got bar-end trucks back in the day. It was built in 1956, and sometimes came with or without tabbed couplers. That poultry car is cool. I actually like to collect those type of cars myself. They look pretty neat sitting on a siding by themselves all lit up together. One of my favorite poultry cars is the Foghorn-Leghorn car.

I am always jealous of the bargains you get!! $10 for a perfectly good car!! That is a home run, a grand slam home run in fact given how many you got. At that price I always feel I can rob a car of its couplers for another use. Couplers alone are more than $10. Always happy when you have a new video. Thanks!

Thanks Mark. In my opinion, the key is to look for deals before specifics. I’ll go with the $10 car passing up a nicer car I may want but that’s out of my range. There are exceptions at times of course. Thanks for watching!

I just bought the stain to do the front part of my layout so I can add more Glen Snyder shelves and get more rolling stock out on display. Always something to do man. Have a good week Dave.
