Hi everyone, new to the channel. Great channel!!!!! Opening the pedal I see that the 3pdt switch is soldered to a mini switch pcb board that says "Caline ap 301 2019/11/18" that apparently belongs to a mini switch pcb mounted on Azor Phase pedals (also mounted by Caline). Knowing almost 100% that these Movall pedals are made by the Caline company, I would be very surprised if it was a new circuit, because these people basically dedicate themselves to renaming new pedals and putting their old circuits on them. Looking at their pedals from the "5 series" range, the only pedal in which the potentiometers match is the Caline CP-511 Enchanted Tone Highly Prized Overdrive that Josh Scott says is based on the Dumble amp sound. I would also lean towards a Blues Breaker, but this is just a suggestion, because the truth is I don't think Caline has made a new circuit. Greetings and sorry for my English.

Not an inquisition, more ljke im impressed by this varial tone with 3 knobs and how effective in variety it ranges to while holding it all toger on the EQ rangea as well and responsiveness and articulation of tonal and harmonic variances. i noticed at the very beginning you noted "clean tone: clean Fender style amp" were you using an amp vst sim/plugin on DAW via audio interface or right into the front end or fx loop on a physical Fender tube amp? INTERPLANETARY... the name itself makes me want to buy it! Again, fkn great demo 👍

@BudgetPedalChap it sounds good, when playing a review of a pedal im only listening to and havnt yet tried, response yes that's a lot to do with the guitar as much as the pedal but going by how well I know my best guitar I get a feeling this pedal would work well with it and my playstyle so in other words it has got a feel to it. 100-300hz, right? Well, this pedal seems to control that area very well, maybe specifically on purpose. Idk, It's the most busiest frequency range on the graph, each instrument in a mix needs to give the ones closest to it visa versa some room to avoid muddyines and compliment each other, I had the boss od-200 and it had all the important distortions and overdrives in one pedal and you can stack em in parallel or in series, and it has a 3 band eq liw mid high with a Q width set, at 12 o clock Q gain is 0- gain go either way is +/- gain on either high mid low, but the Q frequency range/wide or thin peak is set but theres a cut and threshold to compensate and a boost with is probably set to alter the curve so it takes a bit of fine tuning with the boss Od-200. However this pedal on the other hand seems to have it very much fine tuned already- with only 3 knobs, simple is always best especially when it performs well. That's what I appreciate especially when it's inexpensive.

The volume was pretty much unity and the volume pot was only about half way. It seems it's got a bit more output than the original at very least 👍

To my aged ears and many, years of playing it sounds like a Blues Driver/Blues Breaker, depending on the settings, obviously. For under $40, worth a try, I don't foresee it wiping any of my drive pedals off my pedal board.

Yeah, I think we came to a consensus that it was BB based. It's pretty nifty for the price but yeah, there are definitely some more refined FX on the market if you have a bit more to spend 👍

Mm the sound of this one reminds me a lot of the “ DoD looking glass” although the latter one has more controls, but the sound is alike, possibly built around a “ Mosfet” ..

Thanks very much. Yeah I use a Helix with a deluxe reverb model but I dialed it in to sound like my amp, which is a classic 30 by Peavey so it's a bit like a 'best of' Fender clean tones. If you are a Helix user, you can download the patch for free too 👍

@BudgetPedalChap Pod go has some helix grade software, I have that and the amps and cabs are pretty good, the cabs now have much placement X & Y instead of just X-distance so does account for some pretty good combinations, but I use, mostly the line 6's market place preset pack for "the Pink Floyd experience" patches by fremen. Much of his ir setups are great on the pod go, I imagine even better with more processing power on the Helix, so this is reassuring you use very similar set up as I do and it sounds great... leaning that little but more towards having a look at my local music shops for a test, gone are the days of just buying pedals online without trying them out first, saying that I think it'd be a good addition to the fx loop in line before the amp with a couple compressor pedals one either side see exactly how much sustain it can squeeze out of it. If I wasn't already on a vintage strat build project right now, I'll definitely look put a peg on this one. See we need people to demo cool stuff more importantly, not sh&t that will mug your wallet while giving you a fkng smile at the same time. Ie sales videos on KZbin.
