It's vastly more difficult to predict what may be created, all we can solidly speculate about is how the things we know to exist today will end. However, with the universe cooling, and particle density decreasing and matter interactions decreasing consequently, we can definitely say FEWER things will be created. We can speculate, for example, that once all matter has dissociated, all black holes evaporated, etc, that the particles that remain can still spontaneously create consciousness, and even multiple consciousnesses that may communicate with each other, since, well, there will be infinity time left over for such configurations to eventually occur. So, life, of a sort, will still arise.

We may not have emerged as 'soon' as it seems. Keep in mind, there's only a smallish fraction of time we could emerge. Most of the duration of the universe is not compatible with life as we define it. Early on it was too hot for most elements to exist, and the latter part will be too cold and "stretched out" to support the chemical reactions needed to begin and maintain life. In the grand scheme of things, we're a byproduct of a single step of the process.

What’s interesting is the conservation of mass means even at the end of the universe, the atoms in your body will still be there
@tnspnk34 жыл бұрын
Not really, not the atoms. On large time scales, Neutrons will probably eventually decay (and therefore the atoms as well) and the protons will then be pushed apart by repulsive electric forces. What happens after that depends on whether or not proton decay is a thing, and if it is, how long it takes. If there is no proton decay and the proton is fundamental, then you could say the protons in the atoms in your body will be around forever.

He just said he takes comfort in the fact that everything comes to an end. And that’s kind of the way it is and there’s nothing we can do to change it. No amount of optimism is going to change it. And there’s nothing wrong with it either. It’s just the way it is. And I feel that’s an important thing. If there was no end, life would have no meaning. Maybe somebody already said this but Hubble just said the universe is expanding, we didn’t know that the expansion was accelerating due to dark energy until relatively recently. Love the channel.

The Cyclic Universe is so beautifully symmetrix trhough time and mimics how the death of stars creates new stars... But that pesky Dark Energy is why we can'thave nice things.
