The Zulu nation is celebrating 200 years of existence. Founded by King Shaka in 1816, it began as a small tribe of only 1500 people.
Over the years, the Zulus have survived wars, famine and hostility from white governments. Linda Mgobozi compiled this report

I am an Ethiopian 🇪🇹 and I come before you, with no witness against me, to humbly salute you, the mighty and honorable people of the Zulu empire. From my lips to Gods ear I swear if I could be anything but Ethiopian I would want to be Zulu because you, 'The People of Heaven' much like Imperial Ethiopia crushed invading Europeans forces in defece our common MotherLand. As such we, Ethiopians and Zulus alike, stand as one. May your Glory never fade. From my heart to yours - from an Ethiopia with Love. 💚💛❤️

@eddie Dickens Actually, I'm quite well educated and I'm also right about the whites being in South Africa nearly 100 years before the Nguni and the Zulus invaded from the North. Prove me wrong, if you think you're so well educated.
5 жыл бұрын
@eddie Dickens The Bantu settled in the east coast of the current South Africa and they actually got along well with the Dutch. The Dutch settled in the central regions and later in the southern coast where there were no African tribes. No one lived there. The Nguni from the north were only raiders. The continuously attacked and raiding the Bantu then went back north. They only stayed after the Dutch created a stable, rich western country. Unfortunately, most South Africans don't know their own history and neither does the rest of the world as a whole.

No the zulu was just a clan or a people belonging to the surname and there were also other clans around speaking the same Nguni language ... Shaka just brought all the clans together and made them into one Nation... the Zulu nation.... So basically we were here long before the whites came just that before Shaka we were just known as Nguni not Zulu

Distorted history, SABC journalists mus conduct thorough research. How can they say King Shaka's kingdom was from oThukela river to Ingwavuma while he had a palace at KwaDukuza (Stanger) and KwaKhangelamankengane (Congell) where King Edward Hospital is situated in Durban. The history about Isibubulungu ((Bluff) and many more stretching along the coast to Umthamvuma river and beyond.

I'm guessing the Zulu people originate from the Bantu tribes migration and settlement..

That's the theory, they arrived in SA about 2 000 years ago with other Nguni people and were part of the largest Nguni stock. Zulu being a minor tribe during those times. They were called Nguni before Xhosa, Zulu, Swati etc. And they occupied much of the same are until they separated.

They've been here for about 2 000 years but were called Nguni people and part of the larger Nguni stock. The names like Zulu, Swati, Xhosa etc are fairly recent and are mostly names derived from their leaders. The Xhosa took their name from their leader who was given the name Xhosa by the Khoisan people. The Zulu's after Shaka. But make no mistake, the Nguni have been here for about 2 000 years. You can't discredit them of that even if you tried.

Don't allow Orania to become a country within South Africa. Allow them to live in South Africa but once more with any kind of apartheid philosophy. Keep close eyes on them, especially on kinds of scientific activities such as biology and chemistry.

@@silvergriffin2585 Except some people have been in SA for about 2 000 years before the Boer. And those people were born in the African continent. If a Boer were to go to Europe, they wouldn't even know he/she is a South African. They'd treat him/her as a regular European, same with us.
@kgothatsomoiloa1784
@kgothatsomoiloa1784 5 жыл бұрын
@@silvergriffin2585 That's my point mate, we weren't native to South Africa but we're native to Africa. If I go to Nigeria, they'd treat me like a regular Black African and even assume I speak their tongue. If a European travels around Europe, no matter where. They'd also be treated the same because they are native to Europe. Doesn't matter if they were born in Germany, Netherlands etc. They'd receive the same assumption and treated like a regular European even in Russia or anyplace. I don't understand the mindset white people seem to have though about Africa. Where we are painted to being original only in certain places. So because my ancestors come from Congo West, I don't belong in South Africa? Do you guys use the same analogy if let's say a German is in the Netherlands? Why should we be confined to certain spaces in our continent?
