What an amazing job you did ! I wish I had a Time Machine to go back in my life so I could gain the kind of knowledge you have to apply to 5-6-7s. I’ve had many of them but not the knowledge to do much with them. I’ve had my 57 Nomad now for almost 50 years and after seeing your videos, I want to take it apart and start over, but alas, I’m too old.

Great video, will need to go back n this build. I am stating my original , complete 55 Belair 2 door post this winter. Put my lift in the shop so I am ready. Bought this car at age 15…63 now.

I'm not sure if 55 Belair front arm rests are the same as the 56 but the foam for the bases on a 56 is on preputial back order. The bases are also only available in plastic but used metal ones can be found. I like cut pile carpet in modern cars and my living room but on a 50's car I like loop pile but that's just preference. AOC also offers a 2 piece carpet set for bucket seats that covers the middle area.

Where do you get your bumpers plated . You modified your front one. The only plater I know around Missouri is in Cuba Mo. 3 hours away. And there a little pricy . Quality is ok but the shop is a mess ,afraid I will loose my wagon rear bumper. Thanks I enjoy your tips and tricks. I live out side of Joplin Mo. Tulsa is close.
