I've always loved "Pixar's🐜🦗🐛🦋🌳🍃A bug's life", it's in my eyes one of the most beautiful, very cool, very best movies Pixar has ever made, now there is a trailer of an real live-action remake, those are always great. My favorite insect characters are the smart brave Flik, the one in a million Princess Atta, Princess Dot, little sister of Princess Atta, the grasshopper and bad guy Hopper with his gang and of course the circus bugs, caterpillar Heimlich, stick bug Slim, (male) ladybug Francis, rhinoceros beetle Dim, black widow spider Rosie, the twin pill bugs Tuck and Roll and especially the married couple praying mantis and magician Manny and colorful moth Gypsy. Since I'm writing about Manny and Gypsy, I know the ideal voice actors for the pair of lovers of the circus: Jonah Hauer-King as Manny and Halle Bailey as Gypsy. Sounds weird, I know, but I would like it. Dave Foley, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Kevin Spacey can voice acting the main characters Flik (Foley), Princess Atta (Louis-Dreyfus) and Hopper (Spacey) again, even if they're still alive, just like in 1998, one of my most beautiful years, when I was a kid. Maybe now that, because Disney hired an author to write the novels about the Disney villains' pasts, I would love it, if Pixar also hired an author to write the Pixar villains' pasts. I even know the titles, that are suitable: "The storm provides: A tale of the leader of the pterodactyls" (past of Thunderclap), "Zero-point energy: A tale of the never true superhero" (past of Syndrome, it was never seen in "Pixar's The Incredibles (1)"), "Hypnosis technology: A tale of the female Screensaver" (past of Evelyn Deavor), "Adventure is out there: A tale of the flying explorer" (past of Charles F Muntz, before he became an explorer) and of course one of my favorite titles "Let's ride: A tale of the leader of the grasshoppers" (past of Hopper, before he became the leader of the grasshopper gang and before his right eye got dameged after a bird nearly ate him). If Disney ever does a live-action "A Bug's Life", I hope they DON'T portray the insect characters as photo-realistic bugs. Some of us have phobias about real bugs, and do NOT find them cute. The anthropomorphized Pixar bugs in the original movie were cute and relatable, so the movie was wonderful even for someone who normally hates bugs.
