Some of the water pools are wayyy too deep. I’ve seen this many times before and lots of people have been speaking out about how some courses need to change this for the horses and the riders safety

Agree. Needless obstacle. Too hard to maintain. Late in day, they get deeper. Cruel for horses anyway. They don't like putting themselves into unknown footing.

Was the second horse supposed to jump into the water? edit: saw a later clip: yes, seems to be intended. Horses already get spooked when they see water, and here it even came as a surprise, what did they expect to happen? Most of those falls looked like the horse misjudged the water as a solid surface they expected to land on - no wonder with that muddy water.

Oneday at one of these water jump someone’s really going to hurt themselves where the horses are going to hurt themselves it’s the water jumps and you don’t know that the waters there so they fall expecting ground and they fall in the water they could twist and ankle or break a leg it’s it’s horrible they need To not make the water dump so long because the water dumpster so deep to get it just needs to stop because when it does that do expecting at least it’s shallow water and that’s a little deep water so they’re not expecting it and then they fall break ink or some thing and it’s not right. And I don’t mean no hate or anything to jumpers because I love watching people jump and I am a barrel racer but still I just don’t think it’s right for the horses or the people

Yeah but us riders practice every day and some days it just ain’t good I know people who have gotten really hurt well I have broken my hand when jumping, it’s just apart of horse riding

Why are there water jumps? The horses dont know how deep it is and dont see its water. They Hurt themself in the joints when they missjudge the deephts.

its why you cross country school, maximum water depth is 0.30m which is very shallow. my horse is very bold into water, he knows what it is and how deep it usually is because i school round the course before i go

Many of these riders have terrible form & control of their horses. Cruel for horses to be out in these advanced courses at levels too high fir them. Accidents waiting to happen or happened!
