I understand humor, but memes aren’t really funny. Memes nowadays are just used as virtue signaling that you’re in the know about something, whether that something is good or bad, and how it can relate to random things that it doesn’t actually jell very well with when you actually think about it. Humor is about thought and understanding; memes are just references.
