► AC Moses' new book: www.streetgangs...
SOUTH LA - Richard Miles and the 77th Street Boys was AC Moses original crew, but when Ac Moses started hanging with a new group of kids, which included the Duhon brothers and Raymond Washington, Richard Miles was not happy about these new kids hangout out with AC Moses. By 1969
these new kids formed the Crips and Miles did not embrace this new group which eventually led to physical conflict.

They need a 6 season series kinda like that show Snowfall. They need to get with Kev Mac bc he got so many videos documenting exactly how this thing was formed and how the division started and the beginning of sets. It need to be told through 2 lenses. The crip lenses and the blood lenses. Shit will be legendary. I think Chicago deserves the same thing

Wow, AC mentioning Figeroua Boys brought an old memory up: in 89, I was in a Texas 28days treatment facility and one of the guys was from LA too. He was a Figeroua Boy & he told me they had turn Crips. I no longer wanted to be there. OUR family exercise was walking around the building 2-4 times and as we was doing this made a decision if the Crip was going to stay, I was leaving 🙄 I really needed help, Jesus Take The Wheel. As we walked, he walked around once or twice, then walked off. I don't recall his name, except he was tall and leaning on the dark side. I hope he is sober today as I am. The day he left was a break through 4 me, although I didn't stay sober until a year later. Thanks Figeroua Boy

streetgangs So it's safe to say that not only is Raymond Washington the founder of the Crips. He is indirectly responsible for the formation of the Piru's as well. To take the point one step further. I wonder if Raymond Washington recruiting AC into his upstart gang was a direct challenge to Richard Miles' authority in the neighborhood?

Diallo Williams according A.C. Moses in his book he states rhat the reason why the crips were formef is because the biggest eastside gang ar the time was The Avenues and they rejected raymond washington and that rejection caused him to form the crips.

Richard Miles story would probably shed a lot of light on how the hoovers and the swans were founded and their origins. Swans come from the first home of the Miles, 77th Street and Broadway, and you can see Miles Family members with Elvis Dexters Family members in the Picnic on Kev Macs channel. Richard Miles other home on 92 and Figueroa is directly in Hoover epicenter and many high ranking hoovers, like Bulldog were supposedly under Richard Miles once upon a time. And Tookie in his book kind of mentions the stomping and shooting of Richard Miles as a starting point for Hoover. The early history is going to be ugly though, a lot of people probably jumped ship and watched their former leader get beat down and shot up. Even AC and Bulldog kind of jumped ship on him
