Good morning, Mike! Sounds a little chilly, but, great weather for the Zephyr. On time, and it looks like Joe has the procedure and lingo perfected! Holy cow, that woman knelt down, wrapped her arms around that giant suitcase, and stepped up and right onto the train! 😮 I was impressed! Well, first Christmas party of the season, tonight. My oldest daughter and I are taking my youngest to her workshop party. They are feeding us a chicken dinner dinner, AND I hear Santa will be there! 🎅 Such fun for the "kids"! Good morning, Jean; Thak you for dialing in as well as the comments. Just came back from a shopping spree at Walgreen's. Saw your comments and figured I'd let my wallet have a break before I go to Safeway. LOL! I think that black bag weighed in around 100 lbs. or so. I was surprised it was on wheels. The Christmas party sounds like fun! I'll pass on the chicken, but it still sounds fun. I broke out my Jingle Ball cap and will commence wearing it to the depot in the morning. I'll use it thru Christmas Day and then return it to secure storage until this time next year. It is a cap I purchased many years ago from Duluth Trading and they still have it listed in a specialty catalog on-line. I missed seeing Santa at the local Christmas Parade last week. Couldn't miss all the police and fire department sirens though. Jay Rock does stuff posted a video of the local parade. I watched some of it. Good morning. As someone has already remarked, the on-time performance is excellent when there is no track work underway. Thank you for your comments yesterday about Xmas decorations on the train.
