The best photography backpack I have ever had. I got so many different brands but Lowepro is light, strong, secure due to the anti theft system and the ergonomics (side pockets for 2 lightstands and the tripod on the front). I have 2 LED lights, a GH4 with zoomlens and a Panasonic FZ1000, 1 video tripod and 2 lightstands attached to it. I should have bought probably the 500 AW II but we will see....this could be the backpack for the Hasselblad mediumformat then and the 500AW for the video centric backpack perhaps.

Yes it is great. Perfect size for me I can fit all my gear in here perfectly. Very well built backpack. Sounds like you have lots of gear and it work great for you too. The slightly bigger 500 would be good also. Take care.

Will the whole Ronin with a camera attached enter the backpack?

No it would need to be broke down some or if you had less in the backpack maybe or you would need a bigger pack

I don't know the exact dimensions of the backpack in the video that he used but his looks deeper and a bit bigger so that might work better for what you want. The ronin sc without tripod on bottom looks similar in size to that crane or even smaller so it would pack in the same kinda way. You may want something bigger than the lowepro flipside 400 though. Lowepro has lots of different models and the quality is great.

Do you still use the Ronin SC Gimbal or have you upgraded to the RSC2? Does your Sony A7iii fit perfectly fine onto your SC??

Oh yes I still use my SC. Has been great for me and no need to upgrade. It all depends on the lens you will be using. The a7iii is one of the smaller full frame mirrorless so the body is perfect for that gimbal. There is a compatibility guide you can look up. But for me I use my a7iii and 28mm prime lens on the gimbal and it works perfect. It is a nice compact size with a7iii and that lens and works for my needs.

@@ExploringwithWade thankyou, I really wanted the Ronin SC for the price, and the fact that is does what I need it to do, but was worried it couldn't hold the camera and variety of small lenses... So was thinking the RSC2 too but I was reluctant... Thankyou for helping!!

The new one can handle more weight but may be unnecessary for you. The SC handles that a7 iii body and smaller lenses no problem. It can handle some of bigger ones also you just might need to use the riser plate. To be absolute sure look up that compatibility guide and it will tell you for sure. Have a good one!

I am not sure with that set up. Best would be to check their web page and look at the internal dimensions and compare to size of your gear. 😀👍

I have heard several times that it will fit a D750 with the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary (lens hood reversed) I hope so as I have this pack arriving tomorrow! Have gone for the Mica/Digital Camo colour.

Can now confirm the Sig 150-600 fits very nicely, just need to reposition the small internal pouch they provide in it. Great bag.

I wasn't doing this for speed. It was about the backpack but also to take some time and explain and show all of my gear that I use and fit into this backpack when traveling and filming.

Bear spray WTF. Don’t think I’d like to get that close to a bear to use it.

No you don't want to get that close but it might not be up to you. No idea where they might be. It can actually spray out a pretty far distance though like 30 feet. Around these parts you want to have it just in case.
