Jess, because of you, my daughter started gardening. Which reminded me at 68 years old that gardening is such a joy. We talk about gardening all the time, compare green stalks and seeds. Then we share the yummy results. Thank you so much for all the inspiration and the new connection my daughter and I share.

I texted Miah at HOA to find out the name of your cousin's ice cream shop. Miah was kind and answered me, and when the speaking engagement I was attending was over, I stood up from my chair, turned around, and your cousin's ice cream truck was right behind me lol! Got to meet your cousin, eat some great ice cream, and he sure is a ball of energy! lol! SO FUN!!

My daughter is 8 & has been helping me in the garden for a few years now. She loves watching the seeds grow & getting to harvest the fruits from the plants. She has a teacher this year that also loves gardening & has plants all over her classroom. The current Science lesson in her class is learning how seeds grow & identifying plants. Her homework lesson this weekend was to go outside, identify 5 plants, & draw a picture with each plant in it. She chose plants from our Fall garden for the assignment. She would be over the moon to receive seeds for her own garden. She really likes seeing how Ben likes to help you & I think that he helps to inspire her to learn more about gardening & helping me.

I live vicariously through you and your family. My dream is to homestead. I have a major back surgery coming up next month but have my plans for a greenhouse in the works for early next year. My dream is to create a food source not only for my self, but also my extended family and friends. I will also be raising chickens for eggs and meat. I have 3.9 acres so there is room for pigs as well. I’m keeping my DREAM BIG, but know that sensibly any step I make towards a change is better than no step at all!!

Did you see what he did to their last house? The original R&R farm, in Arkansas, was a Repo that they bought in 2014, I think. ( So many old videos out there to watch!) Miah did a major remodel on that house. It had flooding issues & all sorts including bad wiring. You name it! All sorts. Then building the fabulous gardens & animal shelters. They are ready for what’s ahead. Jess grew up with her parents remodeling houses, she is a trooper! They are prepared & have a plan. ✌🏽❤️🌱 She makes me smile 😁

🌱 Seeds, please! 🌱 Also, the children of your first cousins are called "first cousins once removed". Their children are called "first cousins twice removed". It's a bit confusing. My dad is into geneology and explained to me how the generations are labeled. Your second cousins are descended from the siblings of your grandparents.

Yes, the older generations knew the terms. My dad had several double first cousins. Back then more brothers married their wives sisters. We had huge family reunions. Sadly they have faded out as the elders passed.

Yep, that's all the correct terms, but when family is together, we're just all cousins.

Thanks to your videos and book, we enjoyed our best harvest ever! Every time I harvested another bucket of peppers, I heard you say, "Peppers love to hold hands". I'd love to be chosen for some seeds! Rock on, Jess & family!

I think we are meant to keep evolving and growing, that's where growth is! Seeds would be amazing but even more amazing is watching yourself a Miah banter with eachother. Thanks for being so completely yourselves.xx

I have watched you since the beginning. You are the only one I’ve seen that feels the same way I do about gardening. It’s like you read my mind. Gardening brings so much joy. It’s something I have to do to feel whole and alive. A lot of people just don’t get that. I would love a seed packet, but I’m sure hundreds of others do too. Wishing you every good thing in life. God bless you and your family. ❤️

I have remodeled every home I have lived in. My sister gave me hard time about it; however she has changed the last 4 homes she occupied. I guess i see the possibilities in my home and people. I work better under pressure also. Having cousins near by is a blessing. My cousins that I'm close too I call my Cousin-Friend.

I started watching you when I retired a few months ago and decided to start a garden. I recently bought 2 GreenStalk’s after seeing them on your channel. Yesterday I discovered my salad Greenstalk had been pushed over by the side gate from a windstorm so I lost all my salad greens. I replanted today but could use more seeds. It is so generous of you to share with your viewers. I really love watching your KZbin channel and have learned a lot. Thank you!

The butcher block is a great aesthetic for that open kitchen . I can't wait to see the garden belt take off. I started a full on garden last year when everything shut down. We built 16 beds from reclaimed wood and your channel was my classroom. I was able to can almost 350 jars of delicious so far plus a freezer full of produce. Thank you echoing my joy and for your constant encouragement.

Wow! What a wonderful gift you have received! And you want to share it! You are such a kind person. I started watching your videos for the gardening information, now I watch them because I like how they make me feel. You give me hope, and you are always encouraging us in the garden and to be thoughtful of others. I thank you for that, I hope you know how important you are in this world. We needed your voice!

Reminds me of the time I worked at a Boys Ranch and asked for donations of seeds from our supporters in the newsletter. Boy did they come flooding in! we had a wonderful gardening experience with the boys. And I learned that summer why we lock our cars at church during squash season!
