Man....these brothers are reaching back and shaking a era you had to live through to appreciate. Hilarious and sobering at the same time.

That was a straight walk down memory lane. Ali is a super deep brother. He needed someone like Roland to give him a platform to let that voice out. CNN, MSNBC etc...wouldn't be able to do it.

Its inspiring that this brother gave a shout to Clarksdale, MS. What this man is saying is a message that I share daily here in Clarksdale.

Roland, this was by far one of your best interviews. What this brother said about had he known about Prison Intake, he would have never sold drugs, was powerful. Intake - closest thing to slavery, WOW! That experience humbled him in the most profound way! 29:00 forward is powerful. Great Job Ro Ro!!

Don't you talk about William's chicken! It's nothing like Frenchy's but still great. Sweet Georgia Brown gives like 3 meals in 1 plate...lunch, dinner and lunch the next day. This was an awesome interview Roland.

I had COVID for 6 weeks, Delta switched to Omicron. I fought it for 6 weeks. I lost a lot of people to covid, am still traumatized. Through God's Grace and Mercy, the best thing happened in my comedic GENIOUS world, I lost respect for one and accidently stumbled upon Ali on YOU TUBE. LOVE YOU ALI❤

This brother is right. Mass incarceration is a very serious issue in the US. Prison is big business for investors. America is a capitalist nation in a capitalistic society that capitalizes from investing capital to hold people captive for material gain. Time from the life of the prisoner and free labour is the spoil. The US accounts for 25% of the worlds imprisoned. Yeah, the land of the free has more prisoners that all nations.

Great conversation! My father's family talked politics, but never talked to us about voting. I attended Clark College in Atlanta, my cousin was an attorney and City Council President, and I knew nothing about National Political Parties. I voted for the first time when I was 25.

Edutainment. I want to say that I enjoyed this, but that would do this a disservice. It was my responsibility to walk away with something and I did. Roland you maybe a little egotistical and say "I" way to much, I have never doubted your commitment. ".....let everybody see in order to fight the powers that be".

To bad that our school system don’t explain the voting process so that all neighborhoods would have good schools, and good living conditions. If people vote in their lives cities for the Mayors, sheriffs, chief of police, the school administration, fire departments, ... Attend city meetings, write , call, email. Read up on candidates and never vote straight ticket. Some Republicans may be a better choice than a Democrat. The system don’t want any of us to vote because they will be able to make and pass laws without our input, big business can pollute and not pay livable wages and have employees work in unsafe conditions. They can enforce a drive by mile tax, make it illegal to catch rain water. If we voted more on the lower levels we’d have better representation from presidents. We would have elected better governors, senators, mayors. Our system keeps our focus on the president and I believe that congress and the senate really run things the president is just the mouthpiece. Big business really run this country they pay candidates to allow illegal immigrants to work for low wages, keeping our wages low. To send our jobs over seas for slave labor and paying no taxes, they allow private prisons that a lot of companies use for slave labor. Some businesses close because private prisons get more contracts. Companies like Microsoft, Walmart ....use private prisons.

Trash, an unfunny "comedian" but Roland tries to out comedian the comedian. Another thing Roland is an educated articulate man, it is actually hilarious when Roland "dumbs down" his vernacular.
@ttribble3372 Жыл бұрын
Roland's not "dumbing down", he's just relating !! It's hard for some to accept that a lot of us, actually escaped the traps of poverty & miseducation to the point that when we actually "conversate" among ourselves, we can relate on a level that cannot be "programmed", by outside forces !!!! That "inner code" has never been broken since our introduction into this society. The historical documentation of ephathy displayed by the community ( for the less fortunate...regardless of race), has been shaken but not broken, continues to this day (much to the segrin of outsiders). "EACH ONE, TEACH ONE", survives, despite the environments and efforts of the "divide and conquer " crowd !!!!

You didn’t hear or see one dumb thing in this video both of these men are highly articulate it shows u don’t know nether of them outside this episode 😊
