Oh man! This video has made my day! I remember seeing this in the theater when I was 9. I also wore out my VHS tape watching it everyday(more that the previous films). Like you I was a huge fan of this character. Over the years, I’d go online to look Mark up. I knew he obviously has been off the radar for decades, but I always wanted to know where he’s been or what he was up to. It’s so cool to finally see that him out like this! He looks great and seems very nice and down to earth. I can’t thank you enough for doing this video! I hope to meet him someday.

It’s so cool to hear other stories like this! 😁 That’s why I started a KZbin channel. To build a community! I have always loved the Nuclear Man character. I hope this villain is brought back in the new DCU films. And as for Mark. Yes! Super nice guy. Super tall guy as well! 😂 Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻

Special effects aside, in some ways I actually find Superman IV more entertaining than some of the others. That movie definitely did not have pacing issues.

Superman IV is my favorite of all the original Reeve movies. I've seen other interviews of Mr. Pillow pop up in the past few years. It is always refreshing and a true joy to hear his story of playing nuclear man. That is one of the nicest human beings around and I would someday hope to meet him too in person.

This was my favorite Reeve's Superman movie and Mark Pillow and his character was my favorite part of it. Always wanted an equal for Superman to go in action. And probably explains why i love Man of Steel so much.

Totally agree. It was so cool seeing Superman and Nuclear Man go toe to toe. I’m also a huge fan of Man of Steel and the version of Zod that we got in that film.

Nuclear Man is such a well made character, I've heard he was inspired by Firestorm but Nuclear Man is in a league of his own with a unique personality, superpowers and lore. Personally, what I love the most are his suit (symbol included), and also his kick ass music theme. Hope to see him portrayed by Mark Pillow's voice in either Injustice 3, a Dc series or movies. Nice inteview!

It would be very cool to see the character re-emerge in Injustice 3! I never thought about that! I’m also a big fan of the character and the design of the costume (which after speaking with him, I found out that Mark Pillow had a lot of input in the costume design!
