Love my Breva 750, and would love to own Breva 1100 in future/when opportunity comes along.

Hi from Belgium. Just purchased a 2010 Breva 1200. Rode about 5-600 km now. love it every day more. had BMW 1000 RT b4 and now more recent a Honda Transalp XL 700 VA. Well, compared to the guzzi, the Honda is IKEA stuff and the Guzzi is real solid craftwork. This said, the Guzzi, altough heavier is much more maniable and so much more refined in driving. Makes me really happy.

Hello from France, i've exactly the same motobike since 2014, and i'll keep it until the end. I enjoy it the most on small mountain's roads.

I’ll tell you what it won’t be long until I buy one like you are riding

If your BREVA 1100 has ABS it should also have heated grips check the manual or youtube on how to turn on.

I have the same bike, very relaxing to ride if a touch heavy. Watch out for clock misting in bad weather, water ingress to the dash will play havock with the bikes electrics.

Cheers, thanks for the heads-up! The whole dash has already been replaced once so I'll certainly be cautious in wet weather.

Yes they can. It's my first Italian bike and I can tell I'm in trouble already! 😂

Do you still have it? I’m in Knoxville and I might get an 1100, just doing some research now, my name is Steve

Hi Steve. Yes, I still have the Breva. It is a lovely bike - very similar in feel and ride to a BMW R9T. It has it's foibles, the most noticeable being that if I don't keep it on a battery tender then after just a few days it will not start. Also, the gearing is quite long, so rolling pull-aways that I can do in 2nd gear on my 1290 SAS or Bonneville I have to do in 1st on the Breva. That being said, on the highway it has a lovely low-rev cruise. I have installed Grip Puppies (and so couldn't tell you if there are any unpleasant vibrations) and a GPR slip-on that brings out a little more bass. All in all, the Breva is best described as an Italian cruiser; comfortable, classy, and full of character!

@@Madmaverick101 Have you checked out any KZbin vids regarding the replacement of starter relay to battery cable with heavier gauge wire.? Quick, cheap fix for some starting probs.

A high quality battery like Yuasa and the Startus Interuptus mod would be wise investments. I have a Harley Sportster fuel injected and needed a battery when I bought it used. I bought a Batteries Plus top-of-the-line battery. After 1 season I had rideability issues (stuttering while cruising) and starting was always a “keep your fingers crossed” affair. I finally replaced that battery with a Harley Davidson battery from the dealer and the bike has never started so good, leaps to life. The rideability problem went away with the new battery. I will never cheap out on batteries again, but the very best battery you can find.
