I am an adult that is new to my walk and felt shame for wanting tabs. I’ve looked the subject up a dozen times and still felt conflicted. This video popped up for me recently and I just wanted to tell you that my relationship with God has become so much deeper since finding your channel. I knew that God loved me but hearing the way you say it here and there in your videos really made it click for me. I can feel it now in a way that I didn’t before. The way I study the Bible has also become so much more effective. I just want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for posting these videos. You’re not alone! I was nervous at first too…but it gets easier with practice and it’s really worth it! (And it's okay if it's not perfect...you can slowly peel off and try again if it bothers you). I put my tabs on the side because I thought that’s where they HAD to go But I agree that I get scared that they might rip the page on my purse (which did happen) I want to try putting them on top, it’s a smart idea plus it looks cute lol thank you for your videos they’re are very inspiring, I started my walk with Jesus in April so I’m still new to this and watching your videos help me a lot 😊❤

You are the only person I’ve ever seen put tabs on top of Bible and I really like it!!! I notice when putting them on side of pages, like most do, it’s best to get the ones that are laminated and matte coated, otherwise they get smashed. Also I don’t buy ones with foil letters anymore because the letters eventually rub off and you are left with blank tabs or just with a couple letters left on it 😅 I really enjoy your videos keep putting them out!

I noticed your tabs on the top of your Bible in the last videos, I've never seen anyone else do that, but it does make such good sense! Unfortunately my side tabs have ripped some my pages. Next time I will give this a try! I don't think there should be any shame in Bible tabs, it is a big Book with thin pages, it's definitely more efficient to have them. ☺ God bless you!

I have the G.T. Luscombe Company, Inc's verse finder tabs on amazon and its so awesome for not only my small pocket bible but even bigger bibles too because it doesnt have that thing where you have to stick the tab on both sides of a page and the tab is clear on one end so you can still see the verse! Alot of the tabs i got in the past gave me trouble for covering up words lol. Plus its pink so i can't lose

I just got a leather wrap bible and decided to put the tabs on the top and it looks nice! Thanks for the idea 😀. I was hesitant at first but then I was like nah, just do it. I couldn't do the side because the wrap would bend them every time I close the bible...so I wasn't going to put any tabs. Then I saw your video 😇

I grew up in church but I have a bad memory of where books are in the Bible. I'm just unlucky in that way. This video is really cool. I make handmade journals and I usually make my tabs out of fabric. I think I will try that in the next Bible I get. I've also added some red lace into the New King James Bible I have; its from 1986. The pages are falling apart so I've been doing some repairs. This is the Bible my youngest daughter wants when I go to heaven. 😊

I never before saw tabs on the top. Used to it on the side, and i will live out my life with these 3 Bibles of mine done on the side. Besides, Bibles have delicate pages. I want to turn pages from the side, which is the long side and stronger and, IMO, more suitable for tabs

I didn't know tabs were controversial. ;) I've never personally used them, but I know they are helpful. My problem has always been that they do seem to tear the pages after a while. Having them on top makes so much sense! HOW did that never occur to me?

I think using tabs was/is controversial amongst really religious people (sorry) who look down on others for not memorizing the books as well as they do. But generally I don't think most people are against them. I find them super helpful during sermons and following along with the speaker!! I always disliked that problem so I decided to tab them on top and I've never looked back! :)

Hello! I’ve just got a new study Bible, it’s HUGE! I was going to put the tabs on top as suggested here, but as this will be a “desk” Bible, I would not see the tabs unless I lifted the Bible and looked over/above it, and this is heavy and, I suspect, inconvenient. Do you think I should use the tab side wise for this one? Also, putting all the tabs would feel too crowded for me. Is there a way of working out the right spacing of tabs as if I was going to place all of them on, in case I want to add some later and keep the visual order correct? Thank you

I how received so many compliments with those tabs, they r great. I’m putting tabs on top of my new bible, I’m going to try it out. I like new things, makes it interesting. Yeah... it makes me sad sometimes because some people have a really religious outlook on things like this. I really appreciate their reverence for God’s Word!!! but I personally think God looks and smiles when we interact with His Word in our own ways. If I was too scared to highlight or underline my Bible, I don’t know if any of it would stick with me. But that’s just how my brain works haha. I need the colors!!! I think Bible journaling is a beautiful way of worship and spending time with Jesus 🥹💖

I find that the thicker, cardstock-like ones always tear pages. I prefer the thin (but waterproof) tabs for this reason 🤷🏻‍♀️ sorry they haven’t been working out for you though
