Amazing collection. I recently returned to religion after 20 years. My first bible was the Quest Q&A study bible because it seemed beginner friendly and answer questions I might have. The life application study bible caught my eye with the study notes and how to apply scripture to your daily life so I added it to my birthday wishlist lol. I'm a visual person as well so pictures and lots of color keeps me engaged. I noticed I've become more positive thinking rather than being depressed since returning to the faith. Bible sales have been soaring lately which is amazing

Hello! I’ve just got a new study Bible, it’s HUGE! I was going to put the tabs on top as suggested here, but as this will be a “desk” Bible, I would not see the tabs unless I lifted the Bible and looked over/above it, and this is heavy and, I suspect, inconvenient. Do you think I should use the tab side wise for this one? Also, putting all the tabs would feel too crowded for me. Is there a way of working out the right spacing of tabs as if I was going to place all of them on, in case I want to add some later and keep the visual order correct? Thank you

girl this video has honestly blown my mind. i have ocd and my intrusive thoughts can be really scary. most of my intrusive thoughts and compulsions revolve around fears that i am somehow evil, and also being scared of evil around me. i’m 18 and i had to drop out of school because when my ocd was at its worst, i was too scared to leave the house, i was breaking down crying constantly, and to be honest i was wanting to end my life. thanks to God i am not in this mental state anymore, but my ocd can still make life hard for me, and i am constantly afraid of things getting bad for me again. i heard people preaching philippians 4:8 about intrusive thoughts and it was honestly just hurtful, they didn’t understand that i couldn’t control my intrusive thoughts, and i couldn’t relate to this verse at all. it felt like putting a bandaid on a gunshot wound. but this video has put it into a new context and now it’s one of my favourite verses. thank you so much, God bless you <3

I was pondering about the signs that God gave moses staff -- snake hand over chest -- leprosy (showing that sin comes from the heart) water -- blood I came to realize that in a sense, it is the reversal of Jesus' signs: Jesus turned water into wine, his first miracle, beginning His ministry. Then he cured us from our sins (leprosy). Then He defeated the serpent.
