Hi Hannah! I have been a fan of yours since the no-buy year days. I watched Jaclyn Hill's most recent video where she talks about cyber bullying and toxic negativity in the comment section. She recommended reaching out to favorite KZbinrs to encourage them and show appreciation. I immediately thought of you. I'm a fairly quiet presence online but I wanted to take the time to tell you how much you have inspired me over the years. Because of you, I no longer have a makeup addiction. I'm an enneagram 4, just like you. I relate to you so much and I'm sorry I have not commented before, especially in videos where you have expressed exasperation with negative/toxic comments. If it helps the glossier dusk definitely changes colour (almost radically) over time! The two times I have repurchased it, my old one ends up being a more rosy shade, and the new one is more brown. It could also be reformulation/changing of colour by glossier, but thought you should know!

If you're ever in the emotional market for a new cream blush, I do recommend Stila's cream blush in Magnolia. For me it's the perfect neutral brownie, pink blush to help calm the tones of my more pink and red blushes. I use it all the time to layer with my Salt New York blushes, since those are rather rosey pink leaning when blended on their own.

I feel like a weirdo but when my older sister was a teenager, she gave me an eyeshadow that I loved the whole sweetness of that time. So I still have it ha. I must have been 12 at the time. I'm 35 (yesterday was my bday 😊) now. Looooong time!

I have very old make up! When I was 25 I used to buy a lot of expensive makeup, I still have the most of that stuff. Noy I'm 34 and I started to buy new makeup, sometimes I donate makeup to my little sister and my mother 😅

I am in the same boat with the old Glossier cloud paints. I have all of the original shades that I bought on the day they launched. My problem is that they are the only blushes I own. I mix the shades, and it’s hard for me to justify getting rid of them just to buy them again, when I know I still have so much product left. But they are OLD, I feel a little ick for holding onto them still

I had flaking, smudge issues with the Essence mascaras. I think I didn’t wait enough for skincare to sink in but it was not super cooperative compared to other ones. You are not alone in not fully getting the hype

Same. I really liked how it made my eyelashes look but the smudging was annoying. As a student I spent hours looking down because of reading, and the smudging will be there real quick :(

The glossier dusk blush may have left your collection and entered mine. I may be getting it for my birthday 😌 Watching your content, I have been able to tell myself that though I've been lusting over both the em cosmetics blush and the glossier blushes, I have an equivalent blush for the color I'd get from em cosmetics but the dusk shade will be unique. Once I finish a blush and enjoy my current collection, I will get one. Hopefully my patience and the build up over (years!!) will make me appreciate the blush even more when I bring it in.

Hannah!!! I think Essence's Get Big Lashes Waterproof mascara is what you might be looking for. Can't comment on the regular one, but the waterproof one is where it's at. It makes my already long lashes HUGE (when i use it ppl ask me if my lashes are fake, which I take as a compliment). If you still want to try out budget mascaras, it's my best recommendation🖤 (i think the wand looks a lot like diorshow mascara, can't comment on the formula)

The Essence lash princess mascara’s didn’t work for me either, so...you’re not alone. :) I prefer the Essence I Love Extreme volume mascara (the one in the black container with pink lettering). I’m looking for a waterproof mascara that is not to hard to remove with make-up remover. Is the Lancôme Hypnose waterproof mascara that you use easy to take off?

That mascara you had for a few years still goes off if it sits to long, you should probably get rid of it . Generally mascaras should be kept for 3 months, i get it i keep mine longer, but bacteria grows in those tubes. Just be careful with keeping so long

Rather than being so concerned with makeup that may underperform please be cautious and concerned with an allergic reaction, this happened to me with some eyeshadows a few days ago, they were some of my favorites (they were pat Mcgrath) and they weren't that old and they look perfect but I guess my eyes thought otherwise .
