Thanks for the gouge! I was on the fence on whether to get a Rancho or Rusty's track bar, so I'll be going the Rusty's route also on a side note, I was about to put some boot-covers on the shocks but I'll take your advice. Again, thanks. - op

after watch several vid on youtube, i believe most brands lift kit is talking about final height of lift. They assuming basic mod including steel bumpers, winch, rock slide, etc.

Replacing my jku with jlu rubi. Jk has Rusty’s 3.25 plus kit. Looking at 3.75 advanced w/RX800 shocks. Have you done any of theses kit and will I end up with new drive shafts? My jk 2 dr with 3.25 lift needed shafts. Also opinion on long arms

went with the 3" for the Jl. their instructions state 7 degree castor and 1/8 toe out. so many dif opinions on toe in or out, is it a preference. i used their base measurements on the control arms and gave it a test drive and it light and wonders. you guy seem to have installed a lot of rustys and others. what do you shoot for to start with.

Every vehicle, tire and wheel combo and steering situation will require different specs. There is no one size fits all. Every vehicle we do we'll have different specifications once we are done.

Both are great systems and won't let you down. The Rusty's kit has better springs and shocks. Both have good control arms and track bars.

Would you recommend Rusty's Advanced Kit over the Clayton Offroad 2.5" Overland Plus lift?

I can't speak for the Clayton kits and I'm not in the business of bad mouthing companies. I can tell you the Rusty's advanced kit comes with everything you need and more. It's all high quality and work perfectly. If you want a good deal on a Rusty's kit, call the shop and I'll take care of you

Actually, after looking at the clayton kit. I'd choose the Rusty's hands down Rusty's has way better shocks available with the rx800 series and also has more parts in the kit that you need.....spring seats, brake line extension etc etc

Rumor is their 2” lift only lifts a Rubicon an inch or so. What have you experienced with their lifts? Especially on a Gladiator?

That's completely false. They lift just as much as they are advertising. We have installed hundreds of these kits and they lift just as advertised, if not just a smidge more

@@AllProAutoOffroad I called Rustys today and was told the 4” kit will lift a Rubicon 3”.

The rubicon springs are a bit longer as the rubicon is about 400 lbs heavier than a sport or a bit over 300 lbs heaver than an overland. After compression the ride height is the almost the same other than the different tires on the rubicons. I think the average difference is 3/4 inch or so. The springs from Rustys are much stronger than the stock from mopar so I expect you'll see the full or close to the full height with a possible difference from base weight and your modifications.
