Such an interesting, deep conversation touching important topics like archetypes, paganism, history, cultural background and philosophical construct of a nation. I’m listening to you, gentlemen, in express train rolling across Poland and I feel like it’s a journey into my own thoughts. Thanks!

I used to see Okois early band Aphelon play regularly at venues like creation, the media club, the jetset lounge.. Always loved his compositions and originality even the very early stuff. Influenced us as they were pretty much the most extreme local band who were decent on their instruments

I stumbled across Primordial late (3 years ago) and thus Alan Averill. This conversation, as well as others and your interview in "Deaf Forever" 5/23 ... Respect!!! There are a lot of interesting people in Metal and certainly elsewhere, but Alan is the first one I think would be worth talking to. And, he seems quite down-to-earth!!! Respect again. Listen to him and listen to Primordial. It is worth! 🤘

Have you listened to the new Corr Mhóna album? I'm just thinking of it because I sawthat Bölzer posted up about it on their Facebook page a while ago and it's bloody great. A totally unique entity.

This is a great conversation Alan! I still think back to the first time I saw Bolzer which was at that Fest in Zurich back in 2019, that Primordial played too, and how amazing they were. That was a great festival all around, definitely worth the trip over. Okoi seems like a real cool guy.

Awesome conversation alan. I can think of a certain pirate band I can't stand. Before listening to this I was listening to Accuser Opposer. I love what you and mortuus did on the vocals and lyrically. Just wanted to throw that out there.
