Also, A little explanation of 'leaders and enders' and 'thread bunnies' for the people I may have confused about these helpful little sewing tricks.

Dear Kate, I want to tell you how grateful I am for your videos. I think KZbin creators underestimate their impact on others. I’m going to tell you a little bit of my story. My husband of 41 years died in august of last year. He was my best friend. A year before he died we adopted our four year old grandson, because my daughter has a severe mental illness. When I was young my grandmother taught me how to embroider. She use to tell me the back side of my work was like life it was messy. The finished top side was what we saw when we finally finished our work. The business of working through my grief has been like this for me. You have been a part of helping me work through all the pain. I love your inclusion of everyone. I have watched your videos and been able to laugh and be amazed at someone else’s creations. You have inspired me to move forward and I thank you for that and my little Charlie thanks you too. Blessings and well wishes coming your way from the other side of the lime green sofa. PS I don’t like to wear jewelry either or makeup, but I love to make it for others.

I find myself reaching to sip tea with Kate as she is very good at inviting us into the conversation. I have so many interests in common but my guess is that many others feel the same. I have learned allot of tips for which I am grateful. Watching her interact with her cats, birds, nature is so refreshing. I find myself laughing in ev video & mostly I feel a sense of familiar & calm. Thank you Kate, you are a natural at this & I look forward to watching more. ❤😍🥰

We just moved and there are still a lot of things in boxes. To relax me between working in our old/new house, I ordered your tea towel today. Thanks to friendship bracelets when my kids were teens I have ridiculous amounts of embroidery silks, now the crazy quilt vs curtains debate begins. How lovely to live with bits of past loved endeavours, revisit and reinvent, the memories, the sources, its like revisiting a well lived and enjoyed past. Thank u so much for clearing up the bunnies and beginner and ends. My mom taught me to use “ rabbits” because they multiply so fast . My friends call them spiders because of all the thread legs they wind up with. I definitely will use the beginning and Enders idea. The beads in the tunnel will be fabulous. My entertainment is watching you be so independent and creative. You make the best of your time making yourself happy. I want to be like you when I grow up. P.S. I’m older than you.

what a lovely relaxing look into your life Kate, usually watch on a Monday morning with my early morning cuppa. You are looking so much better Kate and seem to be back to your old wonderful self. Your poly-tunnel is looking green and healthy with all your seedlings, can't wait to see everything growing in the garden. Take care.

Although not the holidays, I can see them all part of your Christmas decorations!! For some reason I think of them as embellishments in the poly tunnel added to a line of a prayer flag banner...Sunshine, Grow, Believe, nature,, seeds, flowers etc. You are such an inspiration to me Kate!

I don’t watch any videos that aren’t mainly instructions but yours. Not to say yours aren’t full of knowledge & instructions for things & life itself. With you it’s like visiting a wonderful friend. And all the Duffy things you make & do remind me of myself. I have so many hobbies & supplies. Some of which are basket weaving, actually sold them for a time. Semi precious stone beaded jewelry. That’s comes from being a life long round hound. I have made allot of stained glass pieces. I’ve always been a sewer & made my clothes & clothes for my children when they were small. And that naturally became a love of quilting for the last 7 years. I also knit, crochet
